# Floa — Privacy Policy

## 1. Information We Collect
**We do not collect any personal information.** Floa is designed to work entirely offline. All data you enter — including period dates, cycle information, symptoms, and medication reminders — is stored exclusively on your device's local storage.
Specifically, Floa does **not** collect:
- Your name, email address, or any account information
- Location data
- Device identifiers or advertising IDs
- Health or menstrual cycle data on any server
- Usage analytics or behavioral tracking data

## 2. Firebase Cloud Messaging
Floa uses Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) solely to deliver push notifications for pill reminders. This service may generate a device token used to route notifications. **No health data, personal information, or cycle data is transmitted to Firebase or any other server.**
You can disable notifications at any time through your device's system settings.

## 3. Data Storage and Retention
All your cycle tracking data is stored in a local SQLite database on your device. This data is:
- **Never uploaded** to any cloud service or server.
- **Never shared** with third parties.
- **Retained exclusively on your device** for as long as the application remains installed.
**Data Retention Period:** We do not transmit or store any of your personal or health data on our servers. Therefore, our server-side data retention period is **0 days**. All data is kept locally on your physical device under your absolute control.

## 4. Data Deletion and Your Rights
Because Floa does not collect or store any data on external servers, there is no personal data hosted remotely for us to delete, and we cannot access or delete your data on your behalf. You have complete control over your data at all times.
**How to delete your data:** You can completely and permanently delete all of your data at any time by taking either of the following actions:
- **Uninstall the App:** Deleting the Floa application from your device will automatically and permanently purge the local SQLite database and all associated application files.
- **Clear App Storage:** You can clear the app's storage and cache via your device's system settings (e.g., Settings > Apps > Floa > Storage > Clear Storage / Clear Data). This will immediately and permanently erase all your logs and reset the app.

## 5. Third-Party Services
Floa uses Firebase Cloud Messaging (Google) for delivering push notifications only. No other third-party SDKs, analytics tools, or advertising frameworks are integrated into the app. See [Firebase Privacy Policy](https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy).

## 6. Children's Privacy
Floa is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children. Since no data is collected or transmitted, there is no risk of children's data being stored on our servers.

Since all data remains on your device, its security is managed by your device's built-in security features (screen lock, encryption, etc.). We strongly recommend enabling a screen lock on your device to protect your personal health data.
