How to approach the project

That kind of creative freedom sounds so liberating, doesn’t it? Or ... does it? if you're like most people you’d probably be paralyzed by this task. Why? Brandon Rodriguez explains how creative constraints actually help drive discovery and innovation.

Last year, I was a project judge. The biggest problem I saw with the teams was the ability to explain the sources of their information. "The Internet" is not an adequate description of a source. This is a series of videos about evaluating information online. Some of these may be helpful in helping your students find good sources.

Design thinking is an approach to problem solving that fits well with the FLL project. It was originally developed at Stanford University. YouTube has number of design thinking videos. This one is simple to understand.

This video talks about the process of writing a good paper or project. It is a method of approaching writing your presentation.
