Privacy Policy for FlipTiles

Last updated: 27 August 2026
This policy explains what information the FlipTiles mobile game ("the app") handles, and why. It applies to the Android app published under the package name com.eshaal.fliptiles.
FlipTiles does not ask you to create an account, and does not collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, or precise location. Your game progress is stored only on your own device.
The app does show advertisements. The advertising provider collects certain device information in order to serve those ads. That is described in section 3.
The app also offers an optional paid subscription. Payment is handled entirely by Google Play; the developer never sees your card or bank details. That is described in section 6.
The app saves the following locally, on your phone, so that your progress is not lost when you close the game:
Which levels you have completed, and the star rating earned
Your best move count and best time for each level
Which categories you have unlocked
Your settings: music, sound effects, haptics and reduce motion
The number of free hints and peeks you have left
Whether a subscription is currently active, and which plan it is
Order identifiers of subscription payments whose hint and peek packs have already been granted, so that the same billing period is not granted twice
This information never leaves your device. It is not uploaded to any server, and the developer cannot see it. Uninstalling the app deletes all of it permanently. There is no cloud backup or account restore - if you reinstall the app, your progress starts again.
FlipTiles uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob is provided by Google. To serve and measure ads, the Google Mobile Ads SDK may collect and process:
Your advertising ID (a resettable identifier provided by Android)
Device identifiers and device information, such as model, operating system version and language
Approximate location, derived from your IP address
Information about your interaction with ads, such as whether an ad was viewed or tapped
This collection is carried out by Google, not by the developer of FlipTiles. The developer does not receive this data in an identifiable form.
If you have an active subscription, the app does not display banner or between-level advertisements. Optional rewarded videos, described in section 5, remain available if you choose to watch one.
You can read how Google uses this information here:
https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites
You can reset or delete your advertising ID at any time in your Android settings, under Settings → Privacy → Ads.
If you are in a region that requires it, such as the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, the app shows a consent form the first time you open it. That form lets you choose whether advertising partners may use your data for personalised advertising.
You can change your choice at any time from within the app, under Settings → Privacy options. If you decline personalised advertising, you will still see ads, but they will not be tailored to you.
Some optional rewards in the game, such as extra moves or a hint, are offered in exchange for watching a video advertisement. Watching these is always your choice. Declining them does not prevent you from playing or completing any level.
FlipTiles offers an optional auto-renewing subscription. It removes banner and between-level advertisements and adds a pack of hints and peeks at the start of each billing period. Everything in the game can be played and completed without it.
All payments are processed by Google Play using the Google account signed in to the Play Store on your device. The developer of FlipTiles does not receive, see, or store your payment card number, bank details, billing address, or name.
So that the app knows whether to remove your ads, it asks Google Play which subscriptions your Google account currently owns. This happens when the app starts and when you return to it, and when you tap "Restore purchase". The answer is used only to switch the benefits on or off, and is stored on your device as described in section 2.
Because this check is repeated rather than remembered, cancelling your subscription removes the benefits on its own, without any action from you inside the app.
Google provides the developer with sales and subscription reports through the Google Play Console. These contain transaction records - such as an order number, the product bought, the country, the amount, and whether a subscription renewed or was cancelled. They do not identify you personally: the developer cannot see your name, email address, or payment details from them.
Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time, at least 24 hours before the current period ends, from the Google Play Store under Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions. The app also links to this page from its subscription screen. Cancelling stops future charges; the benefits continue until the period you have already paid for has finished.
Refunds are handled by Google Play under Google's refund policy, not by the developer.
You can read how Google handles payment information here:
https://policies.google.com/privacy
FlipTiles is rated for players aged 13 and over and is not directed at children under 13. The developer does not knowingly collect any information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information through this app, please contact the address in section 10 and it will be addressed.
Purchases require a Google account and the Play Store's own authentication. If a child has access to a device where purchases are not protected, we recommend turning on purchase authentication in the Play Store settings.
For clarity, FlipTiles does not:
Require or offer an account, sign-in, or profile of its own
Collect precise or GPS location
Access your contacts, camera, microphone, photos or files
Receive or store your payment card, bank or billing details
Sell your personal information to anyone
Include third-party analytics or crash-reporting services
This policy may be updated if the app changes - for example if a new feature is added that handles information differently. The revised policy will be posted at this address with an updated date at the top. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the revised policy.
