Corsair LL Competitor for only $40?
Reviewer: tml
One Night I was scrolling TikTok and saw some videos saying the LL120's had been dethroned by this set of pretty much unheard fans from the Asian brand called Gelid with their Stella fans. I went to their site and decided to pick up a set, I wasn't loosing much if they didn't live up to the hype because at the end of the day $40 wasn't that tough a pill to swallow.
Most comparable fans at this price range use proprietary 6 pin connections like your run of the mill upHere fans or EZ-Diy packs you can find on amazon. Now that they have arrived and I've used them multiple times I've gotta say, they live up to that hype.
5 Stella Fans
AMBER 5 RGB HUB
SATA Power Cable
PWM Control Cable
ARGB Sync Cable
The Fans themselves have a lot of different color modes and have a ton of connectivity that you wouldn't get with other fan packs in this price range. They are PWM fans so you can connect them to your motherboard and control the speeds and fan curves, it has ARGB connectivity to control with your respective motherboard software.
The specs and performance speak for themselves. The fans are rated for 500-1600RPM and 70 CFM with Double Ball Bearings spinning these fans at cool and quiet speeds keeping my Ryzen 5 3600/RTX 3070 system at chilly temps whilst maintaining low noise outputs.
Conclusion and Ratings
