3. How do we measure the DIFFERENCE that Flipped Learning makes to students?

If you have two groups of students try flipping a lesson with one group and then give them the same test to see which group learned more.

Also, collect feedback from students all the time to see how they are improving.


4. I wonder how my students (some of them are not familiar with the use of computers) will react to a that kind of activities.

It'll probably take more time at the beginning. Plan ample time to guide them through the process of learning with computers.


5. Are there videos online showing how flipped classroom is used practically in people's classrooms?

6. Are there many non-technology based flipped classroom approaches for when technology fails (!) ?

There are a lot of engaging no-tech activities that you can do in the classroom, such as debates, think-pair-share, role-plays, traditional games.


7. How do I hold students accountable?

8. what the program have you use for create the webpage of flipped classroom

I used Google Sites and I highly recommend it. It's really easy to use.


9. How long should an input video be for watching at home?

It depends on the age of the students, but generally, it shouldn't be longer than 7 minutes.


10. How can we do the assessment?

It's a good idea to prepare rubrics and check lists and share them with students before they do pre-class and in-class activities.

12. Am I going to be able to find enough time to prepare flipped classrooms?

Well, teaching with technology is time-consuming, especially during the first year. As your flipped classroom material repository is growing you will find that you spend less time on preparation than during the first year.


13. Can the flipped classroom idea work at primary level considering there are so many subjects to teach (in Irish schools that is the case at least) ?

Yes, why not. Flipping doesn't have to be done every day of the week. You can do it


14. I would like to know how to involve another teachers in this new method.

They can attend my course at the FCL :-)

Of course, you can show them how you are doing it in your classroom.


15. Can you let me know, how I get a structure to use all these programms or 10 of them?

There is no need to use all the tools and programmes. Experiment with them and choose the ones that suit you best.

When they see how fun and engaging the in-class activities are. And when they become self-regulated learners. A long way to go for some students, right?


18. How can we convince colleagues that methodology has to be changed and adapted to students learning times and intelligences?

By letting them come to your flipped classroom and see how enjoyable learning is for students. Also when they see how well your students are doing at exams.
