Privacy Policy

FlightTrack AI ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how your information is handled when you use our mobile application.

1. We Do Not Collect Your Data

FlightTrack AI does not collect, store, or transmit your personal data to any external servers. All your data stays on your device. We do not operate any servers that receive or store user information.

2. Data Stored On Your Device

The following data is stored locally on your device only:

• Flight details you add or search for

• - Travel preferences and saved trips

• - App settings and preferences

This data never leaves your device unless you choose to sync via iCloud (see Section 4).

3. Apple Sign In

FlightTrack AI uses Sign in with Apple for authentication. When you sign in, Apple provides your name and email address directly to the app on your device. This information is stored securely in your device's Keychain. We never receive, transmit, or have access to your Apple ID credentials on any server. Your authentication is handled entirely by Apple.

4. iCloud Sync

If you enable iCloud, your trip data and settings sync across your Apple devices using Apple's CloudKit infrastructure. This data is encrypted and managed entirely by Apple under their privacy policy. We do not have access to your iCloud data.

5. Third-Party API Services

The App communicates with third-party services to provide flight data:

• AviationStack, Amadeus, and ADSB.lol for flight information

• - OpenWeather for weather data

These services only receive functional request data such as airport codes and flight numbers. No personal user information (name, email, location, or device identifiers) is ever sent to these services.

6. On-Device Processing

FlightTrack AI uses on-device AI for intelligent features. All AI processing happens locally on your device. No data is sent to external AI services.

7. Permissions We Request

• Location: Used on-device to show nearby flights and airports. Your location is never sent to any server.

• - Camera: Used on-device for boarding pass scanning and AR aircraft identification. Photos and camera data stay on your device.

• - Calendar: Used to add flight events to your local calendar. We do not read or access your existing calendar data.

• - Photo Library: Used to save flight screenshots and AR captures you choose to save.

Each permission is optional, requested only when needed, and can be revoked at any time in your device Settings.

8. No Tracking or Analytics

FlightTrack AI does not use any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking frameworks. We do not track your usage or behavior.

9. Children's Privacy

FlightTrack AI is not directed at children under 13. Since we do not collect any personal data, no children's data is collected.

10. Your Rights

Since all data stays on your device, you have full control:

• Delete all app data by deleting the app

• - Revoke any permissions through device Settings

• - Disable iCloud sync at any time

• - Sign out of your Apple ID within the app

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by updating the "Last Updated" date above.
