Important Safety Notice

FlightSix uses consumer-device motion, location, compass and pressure sensors. Readings may be inaccurate, delayed, interrupted or unavailable.

FlightSix is not certified aviation equipment. Do not use it for navigation, aircraft control or safety-critical decisions. Always rely on approved aircraft instruments, procedures and equipment.

GPS speed is ground speed, not indicated airspeed. Inside a pressurised aircraft, barometric altitude represents cabin pressure altitude and not necessarily the aircraft’s actual altitude.

FlightSix uses location, motion, compass and pressure-sensor information to operate its instrument displays.

Data Collection

FlightSix does not collect, transmit, sell or share personal information.

Location and sensor readings are processed locally on the user’s device and are not transmitted to the developer or stored on an external server.

FlightSix does not require an account and does not include advertising, analytics or flight recording in its current version.

Permissions

Location permission is used to calculate GPS ground speed, heading and GPS altitude.

Motion and sensor access is used to display attitude, turn information, pressure-derived altitude and vertical-speed information.

Users can change these permissions at any time through iOS Settings.

Local Settings

Preferences such as onboarding completion, altitude source and instrument sensitivity may be stored locally on the device.

Children’s Privacy

FlightSix does not knowingly collect personal information from children or other users.

Changes

This privacy policy may be updated when FlightSix’s features or data practices change.
