Nice logo.If your are running lettering that small,I would turn the cut speed down to 8 or 12 i.p.s. .That will help with getting a full cut.The choke/bleed distance is right under the auto trap in flexi 7.

I actually don't use the choke/bleed settings.I blow the design up as big as I can work it,and I use the point editor to make sure those holes are closed up.When you look at it in normal screen mode evrything looks good and you wonder why it's not cutting all the way.I try to make sure there is a little overlap,and if there's not,I move the point to give a slight overlap.I guess it comes from being an embroidery digitizer for the last 5 years or so.I have gotten so use to manually setting points that I have a habit of doing it.But it works out better because my designs should work about the same on any cutter or software program.It's the same when you work on a two or more color design.You have to blow the design up,to see if the colors are overlaying like you want them.I wish I could tell you what "follow through" would be in the program,but I rely more on sight than software settings when it comes to the design itself,and that has always saved me a lot of time and wasted material because I know if I blow it up and see a closed box or oval,then R2 is going to cut it that way.I also use the point edit to clear out those small dots and lines that show up when you bezier trace an image.You might also try the weld command to pull all of your lines together.After you weld,select all,then go to arrange and group.That will tie the whole design together and make it easier for the cutter to process.And as for the pulling your hair out.I have to keep my beard and moustache shaved because I sit here and pull my facial hair out while I'm working on a design.So you're good to go!

I'm trying to figure out how to layer objects in flexisign 12 like you can in Adobe illustrator, photoshop ect. Basically I have to do drawings for Athletic floors, so I want to make a template with basketball, volleyball, badminton, pickle ball ect but I want to layer them so they can easily be moved but I can't figure out how. In illustrator and photoshop you can select layers and I'm hoping to be able to do that in flexisign so I don't have to switch back and forth between programs. Any help would be appreciated.

Plaintiff, Flexi-Van Leasing, Inc. ("Flexi-Van"), is suing to recover $156,684.76 plus interest, attorney's fees and costs from defendant, Estefano Isaias ("Isaias"), based upon a personal guaranty signed by him on April 15, 1997.

Naviera was a client of Flexi-Van's for approximately two decades. In the late 1970's, Flexi-Van considered Naviera to be a credit risk. Because of Flexi-Van's concerns, Roberto Isaias, the defendant's brother who also had an ownership interest in Naviera, signed a personal guaranty on April 17, 1979. The guaranty was drafted by employees of Flexi-Van and covered "lease agreements" entered into by the companies for both containers and chassis, and was to "remain and continue in full force and effect upon any renewal, modification or extension of any of the leases." The 1979 guaranty does not refer to any specific leases nor were there any specific lease agreements attached to the guaranty.

*421 At this point, Flexi-Van believed that the defendant, Estefano Isaias, was controlling Naviera. Thus, his signature was requested on the substitute guaranty. However, the guaranty that Flexi-Van eventually secured in 1984 was signed by Arturo Abascal ("Abascal"), operating under a Power of Attorney in the name of Estefano Isaias. Flexi-Van had again drafted the guaranty which also covered "leases" and "lease agreements" for containers and chassis. The 1984 guaranty further provided that it "shall remain and continue in full force and effect upon any renewal, modification or extension of any of the leases." The 1984 guaranty similarly did not refer to any specific leases and no lease agreements were attached to it.

Two years later, in 1986, Flexi-Van determined that the Power of Attorney did not actually authorize Abascal to sign Estefano's name in a personal capacity, thus rendering the 1984 guaranty invalid. Therefore, Flexi-Van required a third guaranty from Isaias. At that time, Naviera's debt to Flexi-Van exceeded $142,300, causing Flexi-Van to place the Naviera account in default. However, the business relationship continued, as illustrated by a lease for 100 containers in October, 1986.

The third personal guaranty (the second substitute guaranty and the one at issue in this case) was signed by Estefano Isaias on April 15, 1987. The delay was caused by the fact that Isaias was unavailable and the document, drafted by Flexi-Van, was being reviewed by different attorneys at Naviera. During the period leading up to the execution of the 1987 guaranty, Naviera's preexisting debt of over $142,300 was paid.

Defendant testified that he did not read the guaranty carefully at the time that he signed it. However, he believed that the agreement was intended to cover a lease that was executed between Naviera and Flexi-Van at about the same time. The court finds this testimony to be credible. Defendant believably testified that due to his many and diverse business activities, he often relies on the advice of employees and attorneys. At the time he signed the agreement, Isaias believed that it was intended to guaranty a lease that was executed between Naviera and Flexi-Van at approximately the same time. e24fc04721
