Privacy Policy
Effective Date: September 14, 2026
WR Tools ("we," "our," or "us") operates the FlexGesture mobile application (the "App"). This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use our App and the choices you have associated with that data.
By downloading and using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
1. Information Collection and Use
Our App is designed to provide utility control (motion/gesture recognition) on your Android device.
A. Core Functionality (No Personal Data Collected)
The App accesses device sensor data (specifically motion sensors such as the linear acceleration sensor and accelerometer) locally on your device to recognize your custom physical gestures and trigger assigned actions or launch selected applications.
All motion sensor data is processed entirely in real-time within your device's local memory. We do not collect, store, or transmit any motion data, sensor statistics, or list of installed applications to external servers.
B. Device Permissions
To function properly, the App requires specific Android system permissions. You will be asked to grant these permissions when activating features:
SYSTEM_ALERT_WINDOW (Display over other apps): Required to allow background gesture-triggered activities to open seamlessly over active applications.
FOREGROUND_SERVICE: Required to keep the gesture recognition service running reliably in the background while your device screen is active.
POST_NOTIFICATIONS: Required on Android 13 and above to display the ongoing service status notification and send expiration reminders.
CAMERA (Flashlight control): Required solely to operate your device's LED flashlight when assigned as a gesture action.
2. Third-Party Services & Advertising
To keep our App free of charge, we use third-party advertising services provided by Google.
Google AdMob: Our App integrates Google AdMob to display rewarded video advertisements when you choose to extend your access period. AdMob may collect and use pseudonymous data (such as your device's Advertising ID, IP address, approximate location data, device details, and ad interaction data) to serve advertisements, prevent fraud, and measure ad performance.
Google's use of information collected through AdMob is governed by Google’s Privacy Policy:
You can opt out of personalized advertising in your Android device settings under Settings > Google > Ads.
3. Data Security
The security of your information is important to us. Since the App does not transmit or store personal user data or custom motion profiles on external servers, your data remains secure within your local device environment.
4. Children's Privacy
Our services do not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13.
5. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Effective Date" at the top.
