Kieffer Fleetwood American Legion Post 625 held its 4th Annual Shriners Hospital for Children Fundraiser. The event was very successful and pictured is the check presenation to Shriner's Children's Philadelphia Board Member Bill Grimley and Ill. Sir Ron Szapacs for $4,798.

On Thursday, November 13 Fleetwood Area School District held a POW/MIA Flag Raising Ceremony. The POW/MIA will now fly at each school in the district on the U.S. Flag Pole.
We’d like to thank everyone who made this meaningful event possible — including Dr. Greg Miller for hosting, the Fleetwood American Legion Post 625 for the presentation of the colors, Berks Vietnam Vets Chapter 131, our honor guard members, and guest speakers Senator Judy Schwank and Representative David Maloney for joining us in honoring our POW/MIA heroes.
On September 27, 2024 Hurricane Helene hit North Carolina. American Legion Post 317 in Marshall NC was destroyed, with the building moved off its foundation and 8 feet of water in the building. The Sons of the Fleetwood Legion reached out to help rebuild with a donation of $1000. On Nov. 23, 2025, Post 317 held their Grand Re-Opening!
