I am currently pursuing my teaching certification through the New Jersey Alternate Route Program. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism from Universidad Católica de Guayaquil in Ecuador, and I have proudly been part of the Freehold Borough School District for the past 10 years.
I look forward to getting to know your children, creating a positive and engaging learning environment, and making Spanish a fun and meaningful experience for every student. I am excited for a wonderful school year filled with learning, laughter, and new adventures!

I was born and raised in Guayaquil, Ecuador, where my love for writing, language, and storytelling began at an early age. Inspired by wonderful teachers, I pursued a career in journalism and worked as a news reporter in both Ecuador and Freehold, New Jersey.
After becoming a mother, I joined the Freehold Borough School District as a bilingual secretary. My years working in the school community helped me rediscover my passion for teaching, learning, and working with children.
Moving to New Jersey with limited English taught me firsthand how challenging learning a new language can be. That experience continues to inspire me to create a classroom where students feel supported, confident, and excited to communicate in Spanish.
Today, I am thrilled to begin a new chapter as a Spanish teacher. I look forward to sharing my love of the Spanish language and culture with my students and helping them discover the joy of learning a new language!
