Cromer is 3 miles away, with its sandy beaches, promenade, pier, cafés, pubs and shops.
Several National Trust sites are nearby including Felbrigg Hall (1.5 miles), Blickling Hall (8 miles) and Sheringham Park (6 miles).
The Georgian market town of Holt is 11 miles for the discerning shopper with quality featured wherever you go.
The Broads are 16 miles away and the children will love Bewilderwood or exploring on a boat trip.
If you wish to venture further afield, why not head to Wells-next-the-Sea, 22 miles away, where you can admire its picturesque quay, or drive to the city of Norwich, 20 miles, and enjoy the cathedral, castle museum, theatre, fine dining, cafés and pubs.
The traditional brick and flint farmhouse, built originally in the 1700s, is full of character as well as contemporary-style furniture and furnishings of high quality, which bring a fresh and modern-day feel to the farmhouse. The oldest part of the farmhouse is the sitting room which is furnished with comfortable seating, Smart TV, DVD and Internet/DAB radio/CD player, and large inglenook fireplace has a double wood burner. You will find that in the cupboard below the TV and in the wall there are a larger variety of board games to keep all the family amused. The house has 500mb full fibre internet so you can stream films from the smart TV or Video conference call if you are at work.
The kitchen is in the "new" extension which was built in 1815 and is over 200 years old. The breakfast room and kitchen is fully equipped with an electric range cooker and oven, dishwasher, central table and eight chairs. The french doors open onto the patio area which catches the best of the morning light. You will find a full range of saucepans and pots so that you are able to cook whatever meals you require.
Whether its a game for fun or a family tournament the slate bed pool table provides hours of amusement, regardless of the weather. The pool room is located adjacent to the sitting room so the children can all be connected to the family group.
There's a wooden brace in the games room that holds up the fireplace in the sitting room through six feet of wall.
Its always pleasant to eat in a formal dining room and the ceiling in this room is particulary high, ( every room is a differnt height!). There is a woodburner to add to the atmostphere and a sideboard full of different glasses to match any occasion and drink.
There's even the remains of a old staircase that was used to connect to the bedroom above that now leads nowhere.
We think it is best to give as much space as possible in the kitchen, as we know that where everyone likes to gather. So as we have a room just across the corridor, we have located the fridge, microwave and washing machine in the utility room.

Conveniently located next to the main door is the boot room that is perfect for all you beach bags in the summer and Coats and boots in the winter.
Of the many pamment tiles on the floor one has a leaf imprint.
All the bedrooms are spacious and the higher ceiling in this room allows for the comfortable location of a king size oak four poster bed.
There's even the remains of a old stone window inset in the chimmney breast wall. There is a wooden cover if you prefer a dark bedroom.

This dramatic room is over 37 feet in length and sits at the top of the house above the bedrooms. The room is split in two levels, with the lowest and darkest level having the twin single beds. In the slightly raised level under the velux window we have a large play area with bean bags, air hockey and a play station. This bedroom is great for children as they can have their own space to sleep and play and as this space is often used by children there is a stairgate at the top of the stairs.
The bedroom is accessed from a door in the sitting room and has is own "norfolk winder" step staircase just to this room.
The bathroom has a double ended bath for those luxurious soaks, a walk in shower, toilet and twin sinks. The adjacent showeroom has a shower, sink and toilet. Both bathrooms have heated towel rails.

There is a large patio at the front of the house with a large round wooden picnic bench. The double doors from the kitchen open to the patio and the when the sun is shinning this is the perfect spot for breakfast and a coffee.
A passage down the side of the house leads to the rear garden that has raised beds. The first two raised beds are full of herbs so please help yourself as fresh herbs are a great addition to any meals that you are cooking. There are patio tables and chairs to enjoy a cup of tea, while taking in the aromaras from the flowers and herbs.
