NATIONAL SCHOOL EYE HEALTH PROGRAMME
The National School Eye Health Programme, prevents eye diseases and vision impairments amongst children aged 5-18 in government and government-aided schools. This initiative with the goal of ‘good and maintained eye health’ aims towards improved learning outcomes and academic excellence.

Sightsavers' Rural Eye Health (REH) programme aims to improve eye health in rural communities by raising awareness, delivering quality services, and eliminating avoidable blindness. It also focuses on providing comprehensive eye care beyond cataract screening.
INCLUSIVE EDUCATION PROGRAMME
Sightsavers promotes inclusive education to include blind or visually impaired children in mainstream schools, and help lift them out of poverty.
