Flathead Metalfest (formerly know as Flathead Valley Metalfest) is an annual extreme music festival that happens around the end of August or the beginning of September in Kalispell, MT.

This is a 2-day event with 20 or more bands from different areas of Montana, along with bands from out of state, coming to Kalispell to headbang and party for the weekend.

While Metalfest consists mostly of metal bands. There have been punk rock bands, rap artists, and acoustic singers who have had the pleasure of performing at this festival.

This festival has always had one main goal. NETWORKING between each other with each other to get other bands to different locations.
