1. Introduction FlashPing ("we", "our", or "us") is an urgent alert app that allows users to send high-priority alerts to each other. This privacy policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how it is used.
2. Data We Collect
User ID — a unique identifier you choose during registration
Display Name — the name you enter during registration
FCM Token — a device token generated by Firebase Cloud Messaging, used solely to deliver alerts to your device
3. How We Use Your Data
To register your account and make you reachable by other users
To deliver urgent alerts sent to your User ID
We do not sell, share, or use your data for advertising or analytics
4. Data Storage Your data is stored securely in Google Firebase Firestore. We do not operate our own database servers.
5. Third Party Services We use the following third-party services:
Google Firebase (Firestore + Cloud Messaging) — Google Privacy Policy
Vercel — our backend hosting provider — Vercel Privacy Policy
6. Account Deletion You can request deletion of your account and all associated data by using the Delete Account option inside the app, or by contacting us at the email below. All your data will be permanently deleted within 7 days.
7. Children's Privacy FlashPing is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
