1.Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how FlashBoard – Big Text Display. App handles data when you use our Android application. We are fully committed to your privacy and comply with Google Play's Developer Program Policies, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and applicable data protection laws.

2. What We Collect

The App is built to work without collecting any personally identifiable information. You do not need to create an account or provide any personal details to use the App.

Data collected automatically via third-party SDKs:

a) Firebase Crashlytics (Google LLC)
Used solely to detect and diagnose app crashes and errors. Crashlytics may automatically collect: device model and manufacturer, Android OS version, app version number, crash timestamps, and anonymised diagnostic stack traces. This data is used only to fix bugs and improve app stability. It does not include any text you type into the App.

b) Firebase Analytics (Google LLC)
Used to understand how the App is used in aggregate — for example, which screens are visited and how long sessions last. Analytics collects anonymised usage events and a randomly generated device identifier (advertising ID). This data is used to improve the App experience and does not identify you personally. You can opt out on your Android device via: Settings → Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalisation.

3. What We Do NOT Collect

We do not collect, store, transmit, or sell:

• The text or messages you type or display in the App
• Your name, email address, phone number, or any contact details
• Your location or GPS data
• Camera, microphone, or photo library data
• Contacts, call logs, or SMS data
• Financial information of any kind

4. App Permissions

The App requires no special Android permissions. Internet access is used only by Firebase Crashlytics and Analytics to transmit anonymised, non-personal diagnostic data. The App's core features work entirely offline without any network connection.

5. How We Use Data

All data collected through Crashlytics and Analytics is used exclusively to: (a) identify and fix technical issues; (b) understand general usage patterns. We do not sell, rent, trade, or otherwise share this data with advertisers, data brokers, or unaffiliated third parties.

6. Third-Party Services

The App uses Firebase, a platform operated by Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. Firebase operates under Google's Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy

7. Advertising

The App displays no advertisements of any kind. We do not work with ad networks, affiliate marketers, or any advertising partners.

8. Data Retention

Crashlytics diagnostic data is retained for 90 days by default. Analytics data follows Firebase's standard retention settings (configurable at 2 or 14 months). You may request deletion of any data associated with your device by contacting us at the email below.

9. Children's Privacy

The App is rated Everyone (E) on Google Play and is suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children above 13. If you believe a child has provided personal data through our App, please contact us immediately and we will delete it.

11. Security

Since the App does not store any user-typed content on any external server, there is no risk of a breach involving your personal messages — that data never leaves your device. Firebase infrastructure follows Google's enterprise-grade security standards.
