A Tale of Three Tries

Flashback is a puzzle platformer, revolving around its core mechanic, the ability to rewind time, and its core challenge: time limited levels. Each level aside from the first forces the player to explore every possible movement option, paths to take, and tricks to manage all while the stress of limited lives and limited time weigh in on the players head. An enforced speedrun, if you will!

It features 7 levels, ranging from a benign exposé on mechanics such as wall-climbing, dashing, and double jumping, to utilizing upgradable movement options and level completion choices to entice the player to use the core mechanic of the game.

Better hope you'll get it right the second time.

Flashback dares you to learn everything about the game on your first try. With limited lives and limited time, you'd think that nothings going for you. But for every mistake you make and backtrack, you'll know which way not to go, and which trick not to try. Hopefully, you'll finish the game before either runs out.
