This Privacy Policy explains how Flashback (“Flashback,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Flashback mobile application and related services (the “Service”).
Flashback is a disposable-camera style event platform. Event hosts create events and invite guests. Guests can join an event, take photos, and view a shared gallery after a reveal time chosen by the host.

This policy applies to:
Hosts — people who create an account to create and manage events
Guests — people who join an event (for example via QR code or invite link) without creating a traditional host account
Anyone who visits our website or contacts us for support
Hosts may provide:
Name / display name
Email address
Password (stored by our authentication provider; we do not see your raw password)
Profile photo (optional)
Event details (title, cover image, reveal time, guest settings, custom message)
Content you upload for events you host
Guests may provide:
Optional display name
Photos taken or uploaded during an event
Optional profile image if available from a signed-in session
Depending on how you use the Service, we may collect:
Authentication identifiers (including anonymous session IDs for guests)
Device-related identifiers used to keep a guest session consistent on a device
App preferences (for example notification settings, theme, camera preferences) stored on your device
Basic technical information such as platform (e.g. Android) and app version
Event participation data (for example that you joined an event, shot counts, timestamps)
Photo metadata needed to display the gallery (for example upload time, aspect ratio, associated event/participant)
Photos you capture or upload in an event are part of that event’s shared album. They are stored using our cloud providers so they can be shown to participants after reveal (and to the host as needed to manage the event).
If you enable notifications, we may store your preference and schedule local reminders on your device (for example when a gallery is about to unlock). Local reminders are tied to the device that opted in.
We do not require guests to provide an email address or password to join an event. We do not sell your personal information.
Payment card details are handled by Google Play / Apple — we don’t collect full card numbers.
We use information to:
Provide, operate, and improve the Service
Create and authenticate host accounts
Let guests join events and contribute photos with minimal friction
Store and deliver event photos and galleries
Enforce reveal timing and event settings chosen by the host
Send or schedule reminders you request
Provide customer support
Protect the security and integrity of the Service
Comply with legal obligations
Process purchases, unlock paid event tiers, prevent abuse/fraud, support billing issues.
We share information only as needed to run Flashback:
Hosts can see participants and activity for events they manage
After reveal, participants in an event can view photos in that event’s gallery
Display names and profile images associated with contributions may be visible to other participants in that event
We use trusted third-party services to operate Flashback, including:
Google Firebase — authentication, database, and related infrastructure
Cloudinary — image hosting and delivery
Device/platform services needed to run the Android app and local notifications
Google Play Billing
RevenueCat (purchase validation / entitlement plumbing)
These providers process data on our behalf under their own terms and privacy policies.
We may disclose information if we believe it is reasonably necessary to:
Comply with law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request
Protect the rights, property, or safety of Flashback, our users, or the public
Investigate fraud, abuse, or security issues
If Flashback is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to appropriate confidentiality protections.
We do not sell personal information.
A core feature of Flashback is that event photos may remain hidden until the host’s chosen reveal time (or until the host reveals early).
Before reveal, guests generally cannot browse the event photo gallery
Hosts may have access needed to manage their event
After reveal, photos in that event may be viewable by participants according to the product design
Hosts control invite access (for example by sharing a QR code or link). Anyone with access to join an event may contribute content to that event.
We retain information for as long as needed to provide the Service and for legitimate business or legal purposes.
Host account data is kept while the account remains active
Event and photo data is retained while the event/content remains on our systems
If you delete your host account, we will delete or de-identify associated host account data and hosted event records as reasonably practicable, though residual copies may remain in backups for a limited period, and some content may remain if needed for legal or security reasons

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing.
You can typically:
Update host profile information in the app (where available)
Turn notifications on or off in the app and in device settings
Sign out of a host account
Request account or data deletion by contacting fawadalidev9918@gmail.com
Guests who never created a host account may have limited account controls; contact us if you need help with guest-related data.
Flashback is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. Please use a strong password for host accounts and keep invite links/QR codes only with people you trust.
Flashback may process and store information on servers located in different countries through our service providers (for example Firebase and Cloudinary). By using the Service, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own.
The Service may link to third-party sites (for example legal pages or support channels). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version with a new “Last updated” date. If changes are material, we may provide additional notice in the app or by email where appropriate.
