Are you willing to stop, and hear some of my stories?
On August 13, 2025, I stepped into the gate of LeTourneau University (abbreviated as LETU, the same below) for the first time. Now, it’s been over three months since I arrived in the United States – my first time living abroad. The journey leading up to this moment began early this year, filled with countless preparations and prayers.
At first, I dreamed of applying to some of the world’s most prestigious universities, hoping to prove that, as a student devoted to Christian education, I could also reach those top places. Yet through the experiences of the past few years, God has gently reminded me that my relationship with Him matters far more than recognition or reputation. In the end, those famous universities did not choose me – but I know this path is part of the best plan God has prepared for me.
On this website, I will focus on the student life in LeTourneau, also with how I applied for the university and F1 visa, and the process I went to the US. The three subtopics will be the perspectives that I was most curious about before I came here, which are events, people, and courses. This essay will present the life of LETU from a unique perspective, aiming to show the differences between a Christian university and a secular university.

LeTourneau University is named for its founders, R.G. and Evelyn LeTourneau. R.G. LeTourneau was one of the world’s greatest inventors of earthmoving equipment. In 1946, he visited a manufacturing site for his next earthmoving equipment factory with Mrs. LeTourneau, and she suggested establishing a school on this site. Then, LETU was established. Now you know why we have a “46” on the back of this shirt!
Photos I've taken, mostly in engineering lab during my first visit. By the way, you can freely use any of the 3D printers here. All you need to do is bring your own materials.
