the world of domminea is covered in many many dense forests, mixed with every type of tree imaginable. all amazingly old and massive.

there are oceans though there is no large saltwater body on this planet. almost all water is crystal clear except for the water in the dark marshes. and a few areas in bogs

the weather patterns follow that of our world, except for the wintertime, in the winter, the snow is falling in an almost constant light powdering.

great desert

the great desert is the only place on domminea that never gets snow, it is rather unknown how or why this place is so dry and arid, but it is the prime vacation spot for older flares whose fur has gotten a little thinner with age, or for young flares who are still getting used to the long harsh winters.

there are no kings no queens and no rulers among flares aside from the elders. (will expand on the elders in later pages)

the elders reside deep in the flare mines, and are the arbiters of law and order, they act as the great deciders and fortune tellers, and a sect of armored guards follow their orders, keeping order and peace in the towns and cities. though they are far and few in number and scattered greatly across the world. the elders reach is all encompassing, thankfully, they are kind just and thoughtful, always willing to learn and grow. and their magic allows them to travel great distances very quickly if needed. though they hardly ever leave the flare mines or the capital city, that resides around it.

the monarchs... the reason why there is only, and can only be one flare out there with a purely red gem. long ago before the elders took the place as the one ruling force,

flares belong on a beautiful and colorful spectrum of romance. they can have one partner two or multiple. and each dynamic is understood and accepted in flare culture, it is common among flares to bond and pick a partner(s) after carful consideration that can take years, as when a flare(s) choose their life partner they often chip off a small peace of their gem and get it fashioned into a peace of jewelry. that the other(s) wear proudly.

so they literally give a piace of their soul to their partner.
