Flance is designed as an offline-first personal finance manager. By default, all user data, including transactions, budgets, and financial records, are stored locally on your device. The app does not upload or share your data unless explicitly stated.
1.1. Transaction Data Processing
Flance may analyze transaction descriptions locally to offer Smart Ads, a privacy-driven, personalized ad system. The analysis happens entirely on-device, and no financial data is transmitted to external servers. Smart Ads fetches relevant product suggestions based on your transaction patterns, using a predefined set of curated ads.
1.2. Optional Features
Future updates may introduce features like cloud syncing, automated backups, or multi-device support. If enabled, these features may require your data to be processed and stored securely on external servers. Detailed policies on how this data will be managed will be made available before such features are implemented.
1.3. Affiliate & Sponsored Content
Flance may include affiliate links or sponsored product recommendations. Most of these products will be personally tested by the developer, while most are affiliate-based. Sponsored listings will always be labeled as such.
All financial data is stored locally on your device unless you choose to sync or back up your data in future updates.
If cloud sync or backup options are introduced, encryption and strict access controls will be enforced to safeguard your financial data.
You are responsible for securing your device to prevent unauthorized access to your Flance data.
Flance does not share, sell, or transmit your financial data to third parties. However, if you enable cloud sync or backup in the future, relevant third-party services (such as cloud providers) may be involved in data storage.
Smart Ads retrieves relevant product information from Flance’s server based on local transaction analysis. However, your actual financial data is never uploaded or shared externally.
Smart Ads: You can disable Smart Ads at any time for a ₹100/month fee.
Data Export & Deletion: Flance supports local export of your data which can be imported on a separate device to manually transfer contents.
Cloud Sync (Future Feature): Users will be given clear options to enable or disable cloud-related features when they become available.
As Flance evolves, we may update this Privacy Policy to reflect new features or changes in data handling practices. Users will be notified of any significant changes before they take effect.
