Frequently Asked Questions

Does the renter have to use a specific caterer?

No, renter may choose any caterer or cook on their own.

Is there a kitchen available?

Yes, there is $50 rental fee for reheating using stove top or ovens and food prep. There is a $250 rental fee to cook meals in the kitchen. Renter is to supply all utensils, pots, pans, serving trays, sternos, etc. Renter is not permitted to use dishwasher, fryer or slicer those are club use only. If you are found to be using the kitchen without having paid you will be asked to pay immediately or leave.

Does renter need to supply tablecloths and/or paper goods?

Yes, the renter needs to supply these items. We do have linen tablecloths available for rental for $ 8.00 per linen.

How many people can be seated at a table?

Upstairs round tables can fit up to 10….can squeeze in 12. (72 in tables)

Downstairs round tables can fit 8 people. (60 in tables)

ALL long tables can fit 10 people.

How many table can fit on each side of the Main Hall room?

7-8 round tables on the window side upstairs.

6 tables on the hallway side without blocking doors.

Are trash can liners provided?

Yes

Where can food tables set-up for Main Hall?

Tables can be in the hallway, in the bar area, or in the room itself.

How early can you get in to decorate?

Time depends on if there is other rental on the day of your event. Typically on a weekend the earliest you can get in on the day of a rental is 11 am if no other party is scheduled.

Does the Home Association allow Sweet 16 or 21st Birthday parties?

No, in the past we have a great deal of trouble with any parties that involve a large number of younger guests. Due to the damage cost and liability of these types of events we no longer allow our facilities to be rented for this purpose.

Can the renter request a specific alcohol, wine or beer?

Yes, but that will be an extra fee depending on the request. By law, no outside alcohol is allowed to be brought onto the premises. All alcohol must be purchased by the establishment.

Can we have a fountain with alcohol? Can we have a specialty drink served?

Yes, as long as the alcohol for these has been purchased by the establishment and served by the establishment. No favors of minature bottles of alcohol are permitted.

What is the latest time for an event to end?

Midnight is the latest.

How long can a date be held?

No date will be held without a signed contract and the non-refundable deposit is placed.

Is there a discount for military, police and fire? Is the a discount for members for renting the hall?

If the event is a retirement party for someone in the military, police or fire department we do offer a discount. We do not offer any ofther discounts due to the extremely cheap prices for the hall rentals.

Rules and Regulations for Renting the Facility- Renter Agreement

A non-refundable deposit is required with a SIGNED contract in order for the date to be held. No date will be held without BOTH. No verbal agreements!
The final deposit is due 15 days in advance of your event date.
Event must be PAID IN FULL prior to the date.
The KofC Home Association will be responsible for table and chairs set-up.
All beverages, alcoholic or non-alcoholic, must be purchased from the Home Association. This also includes any alcohol for fountains your caterer or planner may be using.
Absolutely NO ONE under 21 will be served alcoholic beverages. Renter assumes responsibility for monitoring all persons under the age of 21. Anyone under the age of 21 found to be drinking will be asked to leave IMMEDIATELY!
NO shots will be served to anyone during events.
Renter is responsible for taking ALL trash down to the dumpster in rear building parking lot. Please keep in mind to not overfill the bags because this will make it difficult to carry to dumpster. Extra liners can be provided. Renters will be billed extra if this in not completed.
At the end of event, all items must be removed from the facility. We ask that you have the room clean as quick as possible. Please be respectful of bartender’s time.
Painters tape is the only tape allowed to be used to hang decorations. NO other tape, tacks, nails, etc may be used on windows, pillars, trim or walls. Renter may be billed extra if any damage results from decorations being hung.
ABSOLUTELY NO GLITTER OR CONFETTI DECORATIONS ARE PERMITTED ON TABLES OR FLOOR. NO EXCEPTIONS!!!
Renter is asked to remind guests to keep volume down while smoking in parking lot. (Neighbors will call police)
No drinking is allowed in the parking lot.
Renter and/or caterer assume full responsibility and liability for ALL persons and equipment in kitchen. You will be billed for any damaged or missing equipment.
Renter and/or caterer is responsible for cleaning counter, floor, equipment and/or sinks. Trash cans are to be emptied into the dumpster in back lot.
