Band Vision
The F. J. Carnage Middle School (FJCMS) Band provides its students with challenging and enriching music instruction by:

• Performing quality music from leading composers in the band field

• Offering a wide range of academic band classes

• Grouping players by ability

• World renowned instrumental performers and their peers within the school district
  
  

Educational Mission

The Student Members of the FJCMS Band Program will: 

• perform music using correct tone

• perform music using correct time

• perform music using correct intonation

• be accomplished performers on their individual instruments

• read musical notation fluently

• make connections between music and other subject areas

• be successful, contributing members of the FJCMS band and any other band in the future.
