Fizz Buzz Bang Boing Bounce Privacy Policy

Overview

Fizz Buzz Bang Boing Bounce ("the app") is developed and published by HEXCR Games ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information the app collects, why, and how it is used. We are committed to collecting only what is necessary and to being transparent about how it is handled.

Information we collect

You don't need an account to play, and we don't collect your email address, phone number, contacts, photos or precise location.

Leaderboard data

If you choose to post a score to the public leaderboard, we collect and store:

the name you type, which is shown publicly to all players alongside your score and the date you posted it (please don't use your real name or other personal information);
your score, and the date and time you posted it; and
a random anonymous identifier created by Google's Firebase Authentication for your installation. It isn't linked to your name, email address or Google account, and we use it to secure the leaderboard and deal with abuse.

Nothing is posted unless you tap "Post to leaderboard" and confirm a name. This information is stored using Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore). Firebase also processes technical data, such as your IP address and app/device identifiers, to run and secure the service; Google states that it keeps logged IP addresses for a few weeks (see https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy).

Leaderboard data deletion

Leaderboard entries remain until they are removed. To ask us to remove one, email hexcrgames@gmail.com with the name, score and approximate date. We may also remove entries with inappropriate names.

Advertising

The app offers optional rewarded ads, provided by Google AdMob, which you can watch to continue a game. AdMob may collect and use information such as your device's advertising ID, IP address, device and app information, and how you interact with ads, to show and measure ads. You can manage or reset your advertising ID in your device's Google settings. See https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

Purchases

The optional one-off unlock is bought through Google Play, which handles all payment details; we never receive your card or payment information. The app only records, on your device, whether the unlock has been purchased.

Stored on your device

Your game settings and purchase status are stored on your device and are not sent to us.

Children

The app is intended for people aged 13 and over. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has posted a name to the leaderboard, contact us at hexcrgames@gmail.com and we’ll remove it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted at this URL with an updated date.
