SalahTracker ("the App," "we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information the App accesses and how it is used. In short: your data stays on your device. We do not collect, store, or share your personal information.
SalahTracker does not require an account, login, or registration. We do not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personally identifiable information. We have no servers that receive your data, and we do not use third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking tools.
The App uses your device's location only while you are using the App to:
Calculate accurate prayer times for your area, and
Determine the Qibla (direction of prayer).
This processing happens entirely on your device. Your location is never stored on our servers, never shared with third parties, and never used for advertising or tracking. You can deny or revoke location access at any time in your device Settings; if you do, you can still enter prayer times manually or use the App's other features.
The following information is stored locally on your device only (including in a shared app group used by the home-screen widget):
Your prayer logs, streaks, goals, XP, and badges
Tasbih (dhikr) counts
App settings and preferences
This data never leaves your device. We cannot access it. If you delete the App, this data is permanently removed.
With your permission, the App sends local notifications and alarms to remind you of prayer times. These are generated on your device. We do not use push notifications from external servers, and no data is sent to us to deliver them.
The App does not collect personal information from anyone, including children. It is suitable for all ages.
Because all your data remains on your device and is never transmitted to us, it is protected by your device's own security features (such as your passcode and encryption).
SalahTracker does not integrate third-party advertising, analytics, or data-collection SDKs. Prayer-time and Qibla calculations are performed offline using an embedded calculation library.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
