This Privacy Policy explains how Nikhil Mali, operating under the OutlawPixel brand ("we", "us", or "our") handles information in connection with the FiveCodes mobile application ("FiveCodes" or the "Application").
FiveCodes is an offline-first application that provides video-game Codes and related information. The core content and functionality of the Application can be used without creating an account or providing personal information.
By using FiveCodes, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
FiveCodes does not require you to create an account or provide personal information such as your name, email address, phone number, or physical address in order to use the Application.
However, FiveCodes uses third-party services that may automatically collect certain technical, diagnostic, usage, and purchase-related information.
FiveCodes uses Google Analytics for Firebase to understand how users interact with the Application and to improve its functionality and reliability.
Depending on the platform and circumstances, Firebase Analytics may automatically collect information such as:
App interactions and usage information
App version and related application information
Device type and operating system information
Language and general device configuration
Session and engagement information
General geographic information derived from network information
App instance and other technical identifiers used by Firebase
Other technical information required for analytics
FiveCodes also sends limited analytics events, such as when a user:
Views a Code
Selects a platform
Adds a favorite
Removes a favorite
Views a Premium/paywall screen
These events do not include Code IDs, Code titles, search queries, names, email addresses, phone numbers, or other information entered by the user.

FiveCodes uses Firebase Crashlytics to identify crashes and other technical problems and to improve application stability.
Crashlytics may collect information such as:
Crash reports
Diagnostic information
Device and operating system information
Application version information
Session information
Technical identifiers associated with crash reporting
Information necessary to diagnose and investigate application failures
FiveCodes does not intentionally attach names, email addresses, phone numbers, or other personally identifiable information to Crashlytics reports.

FiveCodes uses RevenueCat to manage Premium subscriptions and in-app purchases.
RevenueCat may process information associated with purchases and subscriptions, as well as technical information required to provide its services. This may include purchase history, subscription status, application or device information, and identifiers used by the service.
FiveCodes does not receive or store your payment-card number or other payment credentials. Payment processing is handled by the applicable app store.

FiveCodes does not intentionally collect through its own application functionality:

Photos or videos
Files or documents
Microphone recordings
Camera data
Precise location
Health or fitness information
Biometric information
Passwords
User-created profiles
Advertising identifiers for advertising purposes
FiveCodes does not require an account to use its core functionality.
FiveCodes does not currently display advertisements and does not use an advertising SDK.
FiveCodes does not use cross-app or cross-service tracking for advertising purposes.
The Application does not request access to your device's advertising identifier for advertising purposes.
We may introduce additional services or functionality in future versions. If our data practices materially change, this Privacy Policy will be updated accordingly.
Information processed through the third-party services described above is used for purposes including:
Providing and maintaining the Application
Understanding application usage
Improving features and user experience
Identifying and fixing crashes and technical problems
Maintaining application security and reliability
Managing Premium subscriptions and purchases
Preventing fraud or misuse where applicable
Complying with legal obligations
We do not use the information collected through FiveCodes to sell personal information.
FiveCodes uses third-party service providers to provide analytics, crash reporting, and subscription functionality.
These providers may process information on our behalf and may process information according to their own privacy policies and terms.
The providers currently used by FiveCodes include:

RevenueCat
We do not sell your personal information to these providers or to other third parties.
Information may also be disclosed when reasonably necessary to:
Comply with applicable law or legal process
Respond to lawful requests from government authorities
Protect the rights, safety, or property of FiveCodes, our users, or others
Detect, investigate, or prevent fraud, abuse, or security issues
Protect the security and integrity of the Application
Different types of information may be retained for different periods depending on the service that processes the information and the purpose for which it is collected.
For example, Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics have their own retention and deletion mechanisms, while RevenueCat maintains information necessary to provide subscription and purchase services.
We do not maintain a separate FiveCodes user database containing user profiles or personal information.
Where information is held by a third-party service provider, its retention may also be governed by that provider's policies and settings.
Because FiveCodes does not require a user account and does not maintain a user profile database, there is generally no FiveCodes account to delete.
You may nevertheless contact us if you believe that FiveCodes or one of the services used by the Application has information associated with you that you would like to have deleted.

We will consider and process requests in accordance with applicable law and the capabilities and obligations of the relevant service providers.
Some information may need to be retained where required by law, necessary for security or fraud prevention, or otherwise permitted by applicable law.
Uninstalling FiveCodes stops the Application from collecting information from your device through the Application, but it does not automatically delete information that has already been processed or retained by third-party service providers.
The third-party services used by FiveCodes may process or store information in countries other than the country in which you live.
As a result, information processed through services such as Google/Firebase and RevenueCat may be transferred internationally.
These providers may use appropriate safeguards for international data transfers where required by applicable law.

FiveCodes is not directed toward children under the age of 18.
We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 18 through the Application.
If we become aware that we have knowingly received personal information from a child in circumstances where its collection is not permitted by applicable law, we will take reasonable steps to address and delete the information as required by law.

However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure. We therefore cannot guarantee absolute security of information.
