We are a family friendly Amtgard Barony within the Kingdom of the Rising Winds, located in Brandenburg, KY. Founded in 1999 by a group of friends from a laser tag league that started having fighter practices outside the laser tag arena, they decided to officially create their own park. The park was named after the five oak trees in Lothar's (Five Oaks main founder), back yard where some of the first official fighter's practices were held. The Park has been home to several knights throughout the years and continues to draw in new members.
Amtgard is a national Live Action Role Playing community of the medieval fantasy variety, under which many Kingdoms and Groups or "Parks" fall. It offers everything from combat, to A&S opportunities, and overall community.

Cast spells as a wizard, defend the castle as a brave warrior, or go on missions of espianage as an assassin. Hit your friends with foam sticks and defeat the enemy with a fireball. Be the hero or villan of your dreams in a live action roll play setting.
