Fitsy Privacy Policy

Fitsy ("Fitsy", "we", "us", or "the app") is built and operated by the Fitsy team. This policy explains what data the app handles, how our AI features work, which third-party AI providers process your content, and the choices available to you. By using Fitsy you agree to the practices described here.

Summary

• We do not require an account and we do not collect personal information for our own use.

• We have no analytics SDKs, no advertising identifiers, and no third-party trackers.

• Your fit profile, history, and saved images and videos are stored only on your device.

• The photos you provide are used only to generate the results you request. They are never collected, stored, or retained by Fitsy, and are never used for advertising, profiling, or training AI models.

• To create a result, the photos and measurements you provide are sent to our AI processing partner (Replicate), which routes each request to the relevant model provider (Google, OpenAI, Anthropic, or Wan). Your content is used only to fulfill your request and is not used by Fitsy to build profiles or train models.

Your photos

We understand that a full-body photo is personal and sensitive, and we treat it that way.

• Used only to generate your results. The photos you add are sent to the AI providers solely to create the images, videos, and estimates you requested. They are not used for any other purpose.

• Not collected or stored by us. Fitsy has no servers of its own. We never receive, keep, or have access to your photos. They are transmitted directly from your device to the AI provider over an encrypted connection, used to produce your result, and the result is returned to your device.

• Stays on your device. Your photos, your fit profile, your history, and every generated image and video are stored only in local storage on your device. Nothing is uploaded to a Fitsy account or backup.

• No advertising, profiling, or model training by Fitsy. We do not use your photos or generated results to build a profile of you, to serve ads, or to train any AI model.

• You can delete it anytime. Open Settings and tap "Clear all data," or uninstall the app, to remove your photos and all related data from your device immediately.

Information we handle

Fitsy is a "pure client" app: it has no backend servers of its own and no user accounts. The information involved is:

• Full-body photo you add to your fit profile.

• Body measurements (height, weight, and body shape). Body shape may be estimated automatically from your full-body photo; height and weight are entered by you.

• Garment and product photos you upload to try on or to use in the app's creative tools.

• Generated images and videos produced by the AI models (try-on looks, videos, posters, logos, background swaps, and other tool outputs).

None of the above is transmitted to or stored by Fitsy on any server we operate. The fit profile, history, and generated media remain in local storage on your device.

How AI features work and which providers process your content

Fitsy is a creative studio for product and fashion imagery. Its features include virtual try-on, try-on and product videos, ghost-mannequin shots, background swaps, posters, social posts, logo design, inpainting/retouch, background removal, and image upscaling. To deliver these, the app sends the content you supply directly from your device, over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, to our AI processing partner. We do not operate our own AI models. The providers are:

• Replicate, Inc. (United States) — our AI processing partner. All AI requests are sent to Replicate, which hosts the models and routes each request to the appropriate model provider below. Some models (background removal and image upscaling) run directly on Replicate's hosted infrastructure. Replicate's privacy policy: https://replicate.com/privacy

• Google LLC — provides image and video models:

  • google/nano-banana-2 generates your multi-angle try-on images from your full-body photo and the garment photo.

  • google/veo-3.1-fast generates the optional ghost-mannequin turntable video.

• OpenAI, L.L.C. — provides the image-editing model openai/gpt-image-2, used for background swaps, ghost-mannequin shots, social posts, posters, logo design, and inpainting/retouch from the photos you supply. OpenAI's privacy policy: https://openai.com/policies/privacy-policy

• Anthropic, PBC — provides the vision model anthropic/claude-4.5-sonnet, used to estimate your body shape from your full-body photo so the app can pre-fill your measurements. This step runs only when you add a full-body photo. Anthropic's privacy policy: https://www.anthropic.com/legal/privacy

• Wan (WaveSpeedAI / wan-video) — provides the image-to-video model wan-video/wan-2.2-i2v-fast, used to animate a still image into the optional try-on turnaround video and beauty/bag product videos.

Your photos and measurements are transmitted to these providers solely to process the request you initiated and to return the result to your device. Fitsy does not use your content to build user profiles or to train any AI model. We do not control, and are not responsible for, the independent data practices of these providers; please review their policies linked above. Requests are processed on servers located in the United States.

On-device storage and data retention

Your fit profile, history, and saved outputs live on your device only. We do not retain copies on any Fitsy server. You can delete everything immediately at any time: open Settings and tap "Clear all data," which removes your fit profile, history, saved outputs, and caches. Uninstalling the app also removes all local data.

If you enable "Save outputs to Photos" in Settings, generated images and videos are additionally saved to your device's photo library, where they remain until you delete them.

Children

Fitsy is rated 12+ and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Your rights (GDPR / CCPA and similar laws)

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Because Fitsy keeps your data on your device and does not collect personal data on its own servers, you can exercise deletion directly and immediately by using "Clear all data" or by uninstalling the app. For any request or question regarding the content you sent to our AI providers, or to exercise rights under the GDPR, the CCPA/CPRA, or comparable laws, contact us using the details below and we will respond as required by applicable law.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post any changes on this page and update the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be reflected in an app update where appropriate.
