THERMAL PERFORMANCE CAPABILITY EVALUATION FOR COOLING TOWER WITH PERFORMANCE CURVE METHOD, CTI CODE ATC-105.

The Cooling tower is the main cooling system for lowering the water temperature in the Geothermal Power Plant (PLTP) system with the principle of cooling by evaporation. Performance The cooling tower is considered to be better if the temperature of the water coming out of the tower is close to the value of wet-bulb temperature. The method that can be used to test the capability of a cooling tower is the performance curve method of CTI with code ATC-105. The wet-bulb temperature in Wet cooling tower type is very influential on thermal performance which is the quotient of the actual value with the value of design. The cooling tower capability is directly proportional to the degree of thermal and adaptability testing on water flow in GPM.
