Thank you for using Fit – Fitness & Habit Tracker ("Fit", "the App", "we", "our", or "us"). Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how the App handles your information and your privacy rights.
Fit is designed as an offline-first application. We do not require user registration, and we do not collect or store personally identifiable information (PII).
The App stores the following information locally on your device only:
Fitness statistics (steps, distance, calories burned)
Water intake records
Habit tracking data
Workout progress
XP, levels, coins, and rewards
App preferences and settings
This information never leaves your device unless you choose to back it up using your device's own backup features.
To provide fitness features, the App may request permission to access device sensors, including:
Physical Activity / Fitness Recognition
Motion Sensors / Step Counter
These permissions are used solely to calculate your activity within the App.
We do not transmit this information to our servers.
Data stored locally is used only to:
Track your daily fitness progress
Record water intake
Manage habits and streaks
Calculate calories and activity statistics
Track workout sessions
Award XP, coins, and achievements
Improve your overall user experience
Your information is not sold, rented, or shared for advertising purposes.
Fit stores all application data locally using secure on-device storage (Hive database).
Because the App operates offline:
No user accounts are required.
No cloud synchronization is performed.
No personal fitness records are uploaded to external servers.
If you uninstall the App, locally stored data may be permanently deleted unless backed up through your device's operating system.
Fit is designed to function without requiring third-party analytics.
If future versions of the App include optional services such as:
Google Play Services
Firebase Analytics
Firebase Crashlytics
those services may collect limited technical information such as:
Device model
Operating system version
Crash reports
Diagnostic information
Their use will be subject to their respective privacy policies.
Google Privacy Policy:
https://policies.google.com/privacy
We do not sell, trade, rent, or share your personal information with third parties.
Because your data remains on your device, we generally do not have access to it.
We take reasonable measures to protect your information.
Since your fitness records remain stored locally on your device, you maintain control over your data.
However, no method of electronic storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), you have rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), including:
Right to be informed
Right of access
Right to rectification
Right to erasure ("Right to be Forgotten")
Right to restrict processing
Right to data portability
Right to object
As Fit stores data locally and does not collect personal information on our servers, these rights generally apply to the data stored on your own device. You may exercise control by deleting your data or uninstalling the App.
Fit is suitable for users of all ages.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13 (or the applicable minimum age in your jurisdiction).
If you believe personal information has been provided to us by a child, please contact us so we can address the issue appropriately.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.
Any updates will be published within the App or on the page where this Privacy Policy is made available. The "Effective Date" will be updated accordingly.
