Our Quilt Story

Our first quilt (above) ,honoring the Fitchburg Singers’ contribution to the Senior Center, was created by Carol Nimlos. She had been co-director for several years and died in 2012. Her purpose was to remind us of our programs by using the scarves that represented the concert themes.

Because of the large size of the original quilt and the many new scarves worn for concerts since then, Carol Caughill (singer and talented quilter) took on the task of updating it by adding the new scarves, being true to the original purpose and designing it into a size for presentation. It is shown below and currently displayed at the Fitchburg Senior Center.
