The mind can find peace or quiet through the use of meditation. All too often our thoughts crowd our brain. Those thoughts increase in size and stay longer especially under stressful times. Sometimes how we think something should happen in our lives and the reality of how life is unfolding, is in stark contrast. A good way to ease your mind is to take some ME time with a time out daily. Meditation can help.
Reduces Stress
Helps Promote Emotional Health
Improves Focus
Reduces Age-Related Memory Loss
Controls Anxiety
Increases Self Awareness
Expands Attention Spans
The list goes on and on. Many people find other beneficial positive results of meditation.
Think of now by clearing things away. Think of…
Relaxing thoughts and vacation spots, breathe and feel the moment.
Be aware of all your senses.
Unplug from your electronics.
Reflect on good happy memories that bring joy.
Try meditating in nature.
Many people practice yoga or tai chi which includes mediation practice.
Quieting the mind does take practice. In the beginning you will spend time thinking of how many times your mind wanders. You will be distracted. You will feel frustrated that you can't even quiet your mind for a minute. But guess what? Tomorrow it might be 2 minutes. 3 minutes the next.
Just breathe.
