Privacy Policy for Fit (AI Fitness Assistant)

This privacy policy describes how the Fit app handles information when you use our application.
1. Information We Collect
Locally Stored Data
The app stores the following information directly on your device, using local storage. This data is never transmitted to us or any third party:
- Workout history (exercises logged, sets, reps, dates)
- Diet/nutrition entries you log
- App preferences (theme setting, etc.)
This locally stored data remains on your device and is not accessible to us. Uninstalling the app permanently deletes this data.
Fit.AI Chat Data
When you use the Fit.AI chat feature, your messages are sent to Google's Gemini AI service (via a secure relay we operate) in order to generate a response. This may include:
- The text of your messages
- General context about your logged workouts/diet, if relevant to your question
This data is used solely to generate the AI's response and is not stored by us beyond what is necessary to process your request. Please review Google's Gemini API privacy practices for how they handle this data on their end.
We do not knowingly collect names, email addresses, or other directly identifying information through the Fit.AI chat feature.
2. Third-Party Services
The app uses, or may in the future use, the following third-party
services:
- Google Gemini API (via our backend relay) — to power the Fit.AI chat
feature
- Google Play In-App Review API — to let you rate the app without leaving
it; this is handled entirely by Google and we do not receive any data
from this interaction
- Google AdMob — to display advertisements within the app. AdMob may collect device information, advertising identifiers, and usage data to show relevant ads and measure ad performance. You can review Google's own privacy practices and manage your ad personalization settings at https://adssettings.google.com. Where required by applicable law, we will request your consent before showing personalized ads.
We do not sell your personal data to third parties. Advertising partners like AdMob may use data as described in their own privacy policies, linked above.
3. Data Security
We take reasonable measures to protect data in transit to our services (such as the Fit.AI relay). However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
4. Children's Privacy
This app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
5. Your Choices
Since most of your data (workouts, diet logs, preferences) is stored only on your device, you can delete it at any time by clearing the app's data or uninstalling the app. If ads are enabled, you can manage your ad personalization preferences at https://adssettings.google.com.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
