Fishtown Queer Social (FQS) is a monthly, RSVP-based queer gathering built around something simple: showing up, meeting people, and actually talking.
We’re a consistent, welcoming space for queer people in and around Fishtown to connect in real life.
You can come solo. Most people do.
You’ll find a mix of regulars and new faces, with a vibe that leans more “friendly neighborhood hang” than “scene.”
No pressure. No agenda. No weird gatekeeping energy.
Just a room where it’s easy to say hi.
Because it’s still too hard to meet people in a way that feels natural.
Because not everyone wants a club.
Because community doesn’t build itself.
Follow along, RSVP, and bring a friend (or don’t).
We’ll be there either way.

Every month, FQS brings queer people together — showing up on time, staying awhile, and spending.
We host a range of events, from our main monthly happy hour to smaller, more intimate gatherings. That means we're always looking for a range of venues too — from larger spaces that can hold a crowd to smaller spots with the right vibe for a specific night.
We run the promotion, manage the room, and set the tone. We work closely with venue staff to keep the night smooth and the ask on your end minimal.
We're looking for spaces that feel like part of the neighborhood — and teams that want to be part of what we're building.
Interested in partnering with us? Fill out our venue interest form.
Our core event is a monthly happy hour, typically held on the second Tuesday, where 125–200+ people come together for drinks, conversation, and community.
Beyond that, we host smaller, more targeted events designed for different slices of our audience, including:
Queer women’s nights
Watch parties
Gaymers / game nights
Some are loud. Some are low-key. All are intentional.
