Hello and welcome to first grade at Riverview Elementary! My name is Erica Maleski. This is my fifth year teaching first grade. Prior to this, I taught kindergarten for 12 years. It was an exciting change!

I received my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Central Michigan University, majoring in Child Development and minoring in mathematics and reading. I earned my Master's Degree from Ferris State University in Curriculum & Instruction.

Teaching is an amazing job in that I get to grow and learn along with my students. I feel honored to be part of such a wonderful team of educators working to create enriching, meaningful learning experiences for their students. I couldn't imagine myself doing anything else!
