My first contact with Nonviolent Communication was in May 1989. I was a counselor for couples and individuals and lived in Southern Germany and attended NVC workshops in Switzerland and Germany.

In 1991 I moved back to Switzerland and first helped out in "Wasserfallenhof," a center where Marshall offered many workshops. In the same year I started to offer NVC workshops.

In 1992 the European Center for Nonviolent Communication needed a "home" and I decided to offer my apartment. In addition to the administrative work I translated in many workshops held in Switzerland and Germany.

1996 Marshall and Gloria decided to let go of the European Center. Marshall moved back into "Wasserfallenhof" which is now known as Orchidea Lodge.

I continued offering workshops and counselling sessions. A great joy in all these years was our Swiss NVC Team that met regularly in the French speaking part.

February 1998 I started a new adventure. I moved to Maui/ Hawaii. And found a home for my body and my heart. In the years from 1998 to 2011 I was invited to all the Hawaiian islands by people who wanted to experience NVC. Many of the "organizers" became close friends. In 2010 Jim and Jori Manske moved to the island of Maui, and I decided to "retire," meaning to no longer offer workshops.
