Kentucky All STARS is Kentucky’s expanded five-star quality rating and improvement system serving all early care and education programs – including childcare centers, Head Start and public preschool – that receive public funding. The unified system is based on Kentucky’s Early Childhood Standards and research-based indicators of quality.
The Early Childhood Resources page includes resources for families and educators of children ages birth to five. Some topics of interest include growth and development of infants, toddlers and preschoolers; understanding and working with children with disabilities; social/emotional growth; parenting skills; school readiness; multiculturalism and diversity; and brain development.
With a variety of resources, including educator trainings, family workshops and hands-on children’s activities, KET helps prepare the youngest citizens to be kindergarten ready.
