Bluegrass Head Start is a child development program serving three and four year old children from low-income households.

• Certified Staff - CDA, AA or BA in Elementary Education or Early Childhood Education

• No tuition fees, No school supplies, no field trip or meal costs.

First Steps is a statewide early intervention system that provides services to children with developmental disabilities, or a particular medical condition that is known to cause a developmental delay, from birth to age 3 and their families.

The purpose of the Frankfort Independent Schools (FIS) Preschool program is to provide all children in our program with developmentally appropriate, child-centered learning experiences designed to educate the whole child, preparing each child for kindergarten.

The Kentucky Health Access Nurturing Development Services (HANDS) program is a voluntary home visitation program for any new or expectant parents. HANDS supports families as they build healthy, safe environments for the optimal growth and development of children.

Kentucky All STARS is Kentucky’s expanded five-star quality rating and improvement system serving all early care and education programs – including childcare centers, Head Start and public preschool – that receive public funding. The unified system is based on Kentucky’s Early Childhood Standards and research-based indicators of quality.

Passport Health Plan (Passport) is a local nonprofit community-based health plan administering Kentucky Medicaid benefits.

Paul Sawyier Public Library provides resources, supports, programs, materials, and services for children and families.

VIPS provides early intervention services to Kentucky and Indiana's youngest children with blindness and low vision.
