My Spiritual Journey

I was raised in a family where being a medium is pretty normal. When I was young, I would often hear the adults talking about seeing ghosts, faeries and having premonitions. They discussed these things like other families share recipes! I was fairly young when I started sharing my own stories! I would regularly know things I wasn't capable of knowing, like describing my grandfather who passed before I was born. I remember my mother doing tarot card readings using a deck of regular playing cards, her mother had the ability to see spirits and talked to faeries! My paternal grandmother communicated with spirits and was a First Nations Healer, as was her mother before her. All this being said my lessons started young.

For over thirty five years I have been doing Spiritual readings. In the beginning, I used many of the traditional tools, Tarot cards, Runes, Pendulums, and I have discovered I work best communicating with my Spirit guides and other energies without the tools.

I always knew there were other ways aside from Western medicine, to heal. I'd seen it happen. Both of my grandmothers had unusual ways of healing. 17 years ago I received my Reiki Master/Teacher degree. This was my start of learning alternative healing methods. My interest in living a Shamanic life started then. All of this leads to my study of nature, the lessons and messages that are there for all of us. I have discovered how to use animal energy as well as herbs and crystals to help myself and others on their own Spiritual journey. In 2020 I also received a degree as a Natural Care consultant.

Over the last 35 years I have extensively studied Eclectic Wicca, Shamanism, drum journeys, and manifesting. I have written many rituals, ceremonies and meditations. This has allowed me to connect with myself on a deeper level and to live me life being the raw authentic version of me i was meant to live!!

Sharing all of this collective knowledge is my souls purpose this time around and that’s why I started Fire Moon Rising. We will be offering a variety of classes, events and rituals. I can help guide you on your journey. and getting back to self!
