The 5th International Congress on Fire in the Earth System: Humans and Nature will take place in Kruger National Park, South Africa, from 4–6 November 2026.

Participants are invited to explore the fes2026 conference sessions for consideration as either oral presentations or posters. 

Contributions are welcome across the full spectrum of fire research and practice, including (but not limited to) fire ecology, fire behaviour, climate–fire interactions, socio-ecological systems, fire management, policy, and human–nature relationships in fire-prone landscapes.
