im using firefox and even though i've disabled all content blocking it keeps warning me that i have and adblocker and sometimes i just get a balck screen on the video player but if i refresh the site it goes back to normal

In order for Firefox to be a real alternative to mobile Safari, it absolutely has to have an adblocker. Either by featuring integrated AddOns like iCab does, or as an integrated feature. Adblockers are vital for the success of a browser, as browsing the internet without one is unbearable. Plus its a must have to be able to protect one's privacy.

I was using Firefox in Android with adblock extensions. Currently, I switched to iOS and found out there are no usable adblock installed browser. Even Safari with extensions, does not really block all the ads, especially the sketchy ones. Then, I tried the unexpected one, Microsoft Edge, there's a adblock plus pre-installed (not an extension). Ever since then, I camped in Edge. I even tried to switch to Edge on desktop, but I could not, because Firefox on desktop is way more better than others. So is there is any chance Firefox on iOS team could implement or collab with adblock dev together making an pre-installed adblock for everyone in Firefox iOS?

Windows 7 64bit. I restart Firefox with the webpage in one tab. After a minute I look at the windows taskmanager and just take 64.000K as 64MB. I use two portable Firefox versions with one having adblock. Adblock enabled means that Adblock is active. So the Adblock column is just loading the extension but not using it to render the page.

But my issue with ram consumption is second priority to performance.

The amount of cpu use caused by adblock is unacceptable.

Due to how chrome works now, after the update, will cause several tabs in the same process and even sometimes the whole browser to hang up for a few seconds.

javascript is a big one as x33a says(if you have it disabled give exceptions to trusted sites[your discretion on what is ok for js]). can you give a image of the error many have given good advice yet you do not give much information for instance privoxy will give its own block page or it could be the site itself that looks for that stuff and says something too. perhaps if you give the exact either screen or print the actual error people can help you better. a lot of times error messages will give numbers that can also at least give a ball park of the issue. firefox is a very known and accepted browser and should not have any issues so I would say this is something you have done like a proxy or something else. some things to look at {tor, js, privoxy(or other proxies), possibly custom dns resolver} 0852c4b9a8
