I was the elevation coordinator for Master Valgard av Mors' elevation as a Premier of the Order of the Mark.
Archery:
With a score of 138, and a rank of 11 (if you don't count those who bowed out) or 13 (if you do), I made it to the top 16 for the bracketed part of the competition. I was defeated by Maestra Esperanza Susanna Flecha, who went on to the semi-finals!
Arts:
I made many gifts for Mors' elevation and for those who assisted in the elevation.
32" long solid sterling silver six petal, double weave Viking wire weaving necklace to support Mors' Order of the Mark medallion.
Hand carved black onyx Order of the Mark medallion. Not my first time carving stone, but my first time carving gemstone.
Two white leather vambraces with three straps each, and hand-cut riveted metal dragon-head splints, heavily inspired by the Valsgarde ship burial forearm splint armor.
Hand sewn and embroidered wool belt hanger bearing the insignia of the Order of the Mark.
Nine hand-drawn thank you cards with decorations inspired by nine extant rune stones.
Flagpoles with drilled holes and metal perpendicular support rods, to support the banners Lady Finne Breth made for Mors' procession.

Archery/Service:
I became Caer Mear's Baronial Archery Champion for Baroness Osa the Archer and Baroness Astrid.
Service:
I helped get Sir TJ and Mistress Bozjena to morning Court to help surprise Sir TJ with a Nonpareil.
I spent most of the day assisting newcomers and less mobile attendees get around site and enjoy the day.
2025.05.17 - Victory on the Vine II in Culpeper, VA (Ponte Alto)

I planned to help Master Naran run the target archery competition for the day. Unfortunately, Master Naran was kept away from the event by a terrible storm, and so...
Master Valgard av Mors and I put on an impromptu archery shoot by racing back to his house, grabbing targets, and setting it all up in less than two hours!
This was my third and final target archery MIT (part 2) events.
2025.05.03 - Atlantian Spring Crown Tournament in Boonville, NC (Atlantia)
Service:
I supported my friends and household members as they fought in Crown Tournament. Bumi and Galfrid made it pretty far, and Ragnar made it to the finals!
I heralded during the procession for Sir Baru (Bumi) and Duchess Lynette.
2025.04.25-27 - Revenge of the Stitch X in Denton, MD (Spiaggia Levantia)
Arts:
I was part of a team that created a full 1490's upper class lady's three-layered outfit, with accessories, entirely hand sewn, in 24 hours.
I was in charge of the documentation and construction of the black silk velvet veil with real gold border accents.
We won second place.
2025.04.19 - Queen's Rapier Tournament in Halifax, NC (Raven's Cove)
I supported my partner, Master Armand Schermitore, as he fought in the Queen's Rapier Tournament and celebrated as he proved victorious and became Queen Anya Shchulepnikov's Rapier Champion.
2025.04.05 - Coronation of Abran and Anya in Powhatan, VA (Caer Mear)

I helped Lord Ivarr Thorgisslson and Lord Johannes von Hammersbach run the target archery competition for the day.
This was the second of my three target archery MIT (part 2) events.
2025.03.29 - Defending the Gate in Spotsylvania, VA (Sudentorre)

I designed the target archery competition for the day. I was not yet a marshal, so Master Valgard av Mors, Lord Johannes von Hammersbach, and others stepped in to fulfil the official AMiC role.

2023.03.04 - Kingdom Arts & Sciences Festival in Hampstead, MD

Retained for Her Majesty Queen Anya Shchulepnikov from 1:30pm through the end of afternoon Court.
Helped Mistress Tannis of Tir-y-Don behind the screen during afternoon Court, preparing scrolls, medallions, and a coronet.
Sought out those whom I knew to be of interest on the Pearl watch list to photograph and evaluate their work to the best of my ability.
Arts:
Viewed every entry and display, and spoke with many entrants about their work.
2023.02.18 - Tournament of Ymir in Ellerbe, NC
Service:
Retained for Her Majesty Queen Anya Shchulepnikov and His Majesty King Abran de la Barra for a few hours in the morning.
Watched their son David while Their Majesties were bestowing awards in a pop-up Court on the field.
Assisted His Majesty's mother and brought her water.
Attended all Vigils with the Royal entourage, helping carry things like scrolls and camera equipment and cups.
Helped Mistress Tannis of Tir-y-Don move and set up her bench, and move scrolls and scroll covers.
Learned more about retaining from Mistress Edan and Master Armand.
Retained for Their Majesties in evening Court, my first time doing so! I was told by a few onlookers that I did a good job, and it was nice to see so much of the action up close.

Attended THL Ishmael Stedfast Reed's play "The Murder of Thomas Brinde" and the open panel discussion afterward.

Did a live reading of my 16th century English style sonnet about the legend of King Laurin's rose garden in honor of their Excellencies' investiture.

Helped assemble site tokens for troll.

Occasionally retained for His Majesty King Abran de la Barra when his retainer needed to step away, or when he had no retainer and both Majesties were together.

Fixed the coffee maker, possibly my greatest act of service to Atlantia yet.

Judged the Arts and Sciences competition for archery-themed creations. Congratulations to Lord Elias, his 14th century English leather arm guard was very well researched and executed.
Transported and set up thrones and other Court necessities.

Talked to Master Naran Numuchi about historically accurate construction of Mongolian arrows.
Met a nice person named Mistress/Baroness Ceridwen ferch Owain, talked about 14th century knitted reliquary pouches. She offered to help me find local resources for moving to the next level with my knitting.
Talked with Katie, wife of Master Benjamin Lilje, about knitting and how to increase knitting speed ergonomically.

Volunteered to assist at the Minister-of-the-List table and therefore learn how to MOL.
Did not actually complete training, as I was asked to retain for Her Majesty instead.
Was appointed deputy hall steward on the spot.
Cleaned bathrooms and restocked bathroom supplies.
Took out trash from all hall bins, replaced liners.
Restocked water cooler dispensers.
Retained for Her Majesty Queen Anya Shchulepnikov from about 11am until the start of afternoon Court.
Met Mistress Edan, talked about what it means to serve as landed baronage.
Learned how to be a better retainer from this person.
