About Me
About Me
I’m a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) in British Columbia, offering online counselling for Asian women who are navigating life transitions, emotional burnout, and the quiet pressure to carry everything well. My work focuses on women’s mental health within the context of culture, family expectations, and caregiving roles.
I have been practicing as an RCC since 2019 and hold a Master’s in Education. I have also worked in the school system since 2008, experience that has shaped my understanding of family dynamics, intergenerational relationships, and the emotional labour many women carry.
Many of the women I work with are capable and caring, yet feel overwhelmed, disconnected from themselves, or unsure how to move forward without guilt. In our work together, you don’t need to explain cultural nuance or minimize your experiences—therapy is a space where your story is met with care and understanding.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and culturally attuned. Sessions move at a supportive pace, with a focus on self-compassion, emotional clarity, and balance. I offer online counselling to adults across British Columbia.
If you’re considering counselling and wondering whether this might be a good fit, I invite you to meet with me in a free 15-minute consultation. Taking the first step doesn’t have to feel rushed—you’re welcome to begin at a pace that feels right for you.
