If you want a premium on-ear listening experience with exceptional battery longevity and multipoint stability for long gaming sessions, choose FIO MOTUS On-Ear Headphones; if you need ultra-deep noise cancellation, the latest Bluetooth 6.0 connectivity, and a lightweight in-ear design for maximum portability, choose QCY MeloBuds N60.
• FIO MOTUS: Delivers an impressive 55 hours of continuous playtime and features a robust on-ear design with physical button controls, making it ideal for marathon gaming or work sessions where charging is inconvenient.
• QCY: Offers superior -56dB adaptive noise cancellation and Bluetooth 6.0 speed with LDAC support for Hi-Res audio, perfect for commuters or travelers who need to block out the world entirely.
• Best For: The FIO MOTUS is the clear choice for those prioritizing all-day power and comfort over the head, while the QCY MeloBuds N60 wins for users seeking the absolute highest fidelity and most advanced noise isolation in a compact form factor.
The FIO MOTUS FM30 is designed for the user who values endurance above all else. With its massive 55-hour battery life powered by 30mm oversized dynamic drivers, this headphone is built to last through multiple days of heavy use without needing a charger. The frequency range extends up to 40,000Hz, suggesting a capability to reproduce high-frequency details that many standard consumer headphones might miss. For someone using headphones primarily for gaming, this extended playtime means you can drop them on your desk, walk away for a few hours, and return to find they are still ready to go.
The on-ear design places the ear cups directly on the ear rather than inside the canal, which some users prefer for situational awareness during casual breaks. The unit utilizes a combination of feed-forward and feedback technology for Active Noise Cancellation, a dual-microphone setup for voice clarity, and Bluetooth 5.4 for stable wireless transmission up to 10 meters. The physical button controls offer a tactile way to manage playback and calls, which can be a significant advantage during intense gaming moments where touch controls might be accidentally triggered by sweat or movement.

However, this product is not for everyone. The plastic enclosure and the specific on-ear shape mean it may not provide the same level of passive isolation as deep-fitting in-ear buds. If you are looking for the "best spatial audio gaming headset" experience that relies heavily on complete sound isolation to create an immersive bubble, the open nature of the on-ear cup might let in too much ambient noise for your liking. Additionally, while the 55-hour battery is a standout feature, the weight of 0.28 kg is something to consider if you plan to wear them for extremely long periods without taking a break; they sit on top of your head rather than resting in your ears. This model is best suited for the home office gamer or the traveler who needs a reliable, long-lasting companion that doesn't demand constant attention to its power status.
The QCY MeloBuds N60 targets the audiophile and the commuter who demands the latest technology in the smallest possible package. These earbuds represent a significant leap forward with their Bluetooth 6.0 implementation, which promises lower power consumption and a more secure connection than previous generations. The inclusion of LDAC support allows for Hi-Res Audio streaming, transferring three times more data than standard Bluetooth codecs, provided you are using an Android device. For the gamer chasing the "best spatial audio gaming headset" label, the coaxial dual high/low frequency drivers (6mm+11mm) are engineered to deliver precise separation between bass and treble, creating a detailed soundscape that can help pinpoint enemy footsteps or directional cues in competitive titles.
The defining feature of the N60 is its aggressive -56dB Ultra-Deep Noise Cancellation. By utilizing six microphones and beamforming technology, the system actively filters out wind, background chatter, and low-frequency hums, creating a quiet environment wherever you are. This is complemented by an IPX5 waterproof rating, ensuring that rain, sweat, or accidental spills won't ruin the internal components. The ergonomic fit, supported by five sizes of ear tips ranging from XS to XL, ensures a customized seal that is critical for both sound quality and effective noise isolation.
Despite these strengths, there are trade-offs. The battery life per single charge is 9 hours, which, while respectable, does not match the marathon duration of the FIO MOTUS. You will need to rely on the charging case for the full 45-hour total, and the in-ear design means you are physically blocking your ear canal. Some users find this uncomfortable after several hours, especially if they do not have the right ear tip size for a proper seal. Furthermore, the reliance on touch controls and an app for firmware updates requires a certain level of tech-savviness that not every casual listener enjoys. This product is the ideal pick for the mobile gamer or student who needs a powerful, portable tool that blocks out distractions and delivers studio-quality sound, but who can manage a mid-sized charging case in their pocket.

• Best connectivity standard → QCY MeloBuds N60: Bluetooth 6.0 offers future-proofing and potentially lower latency compared to the Bluetooth 5.4 found in the FIO MOTUS.
• Best for physical control → FIO MOTUS On-Ear Headphones: Dedicated buttons are often faster and less prone to accidental activation than the touch-sensitive interface of the QCY.

In my opinion, if you are specifically building a setup for gaming, the FIO MOTUS On-Ear Headphones are the smarter purchase for most people. The sheer convenience of 55 hours of battery life removes the anxiety of running out of power mid-match, and the physical buttons offer reliability that touch controls sometimes lack during fast-paced action. While the QCY MeloBuds N60 boasts better noise cancellation and newer Bluetooth specs, the on-ear design of the FIO MOTUS provides a more comfortable, breathable experience for the long sessions typical of serious gamers. I would recommend the FIO MOTUS for anyone who wants a dedicated gaming headset that stays on longer than any other option on the market without needing a recharge.
Neither of these models is a neckband; the FIO MOTUS is an on-ear headphone and the QCY is an in-ear bud. However, the FIO MOTUS offers the closest alternative to a neckband in terms of battery life and ease of wear for long gaming sessions.
The QCY MeloBuds N60 offers superior isolation with -56dB adaptive noise cancellation and an in-ear seal, making it significantly better at blocking external noise than the on-ear FIO MOTUS.
Yes, both products support multipoint Bluetooth connection, allowing you to stay connected to two devices at once, which is essential for multitasking between a game console and a communication app.
The QCY MeloBuds N60 explicitly supports LDAC for Hi-Res audio on Android devices, offering higher fidelity than the standard Bluetooth audio typically found in the FIO MOTUS.
