If you want long battery life bone conduction headphones for work that also offer superior spatial immersion and ultra-soft comfort, choose FIO MOTUS Hybrid Active Noise; if you need the latest Bluetooth connectivity with a more rugged build and transparency mode, choose Picun NC60. Both are capable over-ear options designed to help you focus in busy environments, but they serve slightly different priorities when it comes to daily use at your desk or during commutes.
• FIO MOTUS Hybrid Active Noise: Its biggest strength is an industry-leading 130-hour playtime and deep spatial audio integration, making it ideal for marathon listening sessions; its trade-off is a standard plastic build and a slightly higher latency of 200ms compared to some competitors.
• Picun NC60: It shines with its modern ABS and metal construction, Bluetooth 5.4 stability, and useful transparency mode for situational awareness; however, it offers a shorter 80-hour battery life and lacks the expansive frequency response of the FIO.
• Who each pick is for: The FIO MOTUS is best for those who prioritize uninterrupted power and immersive media consumption, while the Picun NC60 suits users who value durability, the newest wireless standards, and hearing their surroundings when needed.
The FIO MOTUS FM20 is built for the person who treats their headphones as a constant companion rather than a device they plug in every night. The standout feature here is the sheer longevity of the battery. With up to 130 hours of playtime in standard mode, or 75 hours even when active noise cancellation is engaged, this pair of headphones can last through multiple weeks of heavy use without needing a charge. If you are someone who works from home and often forgets to charge your devices overnight, or if you travel frequently and want to avoid carrying a charger on long flights, this spec sheet tells me this is the logical choice. A quick 10-minute charge provides 12 hours of playback, which is a lifesaver for emergency top-ups before a meeting or a commute.
The audio experience is engineered for depth and immersion. The 40mm dynamic drivers support a frequency response that extends up to 40kHz, far beyond the typical human hearing range, which suggests a level of detail in music and movies that many standard headphones miss. The inclusion of personalized spatial audio is particularly compelling for anyone watching films or listening to music at home. This feature creates a 360-degree soundstage that keeps you in the center of the action, effectively turning a living room into a concert hall. For a worker who uses headphones to unwind after a shift or to stay focused during deep work sessions, this level of sonic fidelity adds a layer of engagement that standard stereo sound cannot match.

Comfort is another pillar of the FIO MOTUS design. The earcups utilize ultra-soft protein leather, which is critical for all-day wear. Many users complain about pressure points or heat buildup during long calls or study sessions, but the softness of these materials aims to mitigate that. The earmuffs are also designed to automatically adjust the angle to fit different head shapes, ensuring a secure yet gentle seal. This adaptability makes it suitable for various work environments, whether you are sitting at a standing desk, leaning back in a chair, or moving around the house. However, the build material is primarily plastic, which might feel less premium than metal alternatives, though it likely contributes to the lightweight nature of the headset.
The Picun NC60 targets a user who values technical precision and physical durability above raw battery duration. The most significant upgrade here is the Bluetooth version. While many competitors still rely on older standards, the NC60 utilizes Bluetooth 5.4. This newer protocol generally offers more stable connections, lower power consumption for the transmitter, and better resistance to interference in crowded wireless environments like open-plan offices or coffee shops. If you have ever experienced audio dropouts or connection hiccups with older devices, the jump to 5.4 is a tangible improvement in reliability. Furthermore, the enclosure combines Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS) with metal components. This mix suggests a chassis that is not only lighter than solid metal but also more resistant to the cracks and dents that can happen if you accidentally drop your headphones on a hard floor.
Another key differentiator is the inclusion of Transparency Mode. While the FIO MOTUS focuses heavily on blocking out the world with hybrid ANC, the Picun allows you to hear ambient sounds without removing the headphones. This is essential for specific work scenarios where you need to be aware of colleagues approaching your desk, hearing a doorbell, or monitoring safety equipment in a workshop. The ability to toggle between deep noise cancellation and environmental awareness gives you control over your auditory environment without the friction of taking the gear off. This feature makes the NC60 a versatile tool for professionals who need to switch between "focus mode" and "communication mode" rapidly throughout the day.
The audio tuning on the Picun NC60 is robust, featuring a 32-ohm impedance and a frequency range of 20Hz to 20,000Hz. This covers the full spectrum of human hearing and ensures that bass remains punchy while mids and highs remain clear. The custom EQ via app allows you to fine-tune the sound to your personal preference, which is great for audiophiles who want to shape the output to match their specific taste. However, the battery life is capped at 80 hours. While this is still an impressive figure that exceeds the average consumer expectation, it is significantly less than the FIO MOTUS. If you are the type of person who charges their devices every single night, this difference is negligible. But if you prefer to go days or weeks between charges, the 80-hour limit might require you to plan your charging schedule more carefully.
• Best for battery life → FIO MOTUS Hybrid Active Noise: With 130 hours of total playtime and a rapid 10-minute charge capability, it wins decisively for those who hate worrying about power.
• Best connectivity → Picun NC60: The Bluetooth 5.4 chip offers a more modern, stable link for wireless transmission, reducing potential lag or dropouts in busy signal environments.
• Best for situational awareness → Picun NC60: The dedicated Transparency Mode allows you to hear your surroundings instantly, a feature absent in the FIO's purely isolation-focused design.
• Best for immersive media → FIO MOTUS Hybrid Active Noise: The 40kHz frequency response and spatial audio create a wider, more cinematic soundscape for movies and high-fidelity music.
• Best build durability → Picun NC60: The combination of ABS plastic and metal suggests a more rugged frame that can withstand drops and rough handling better than all-plastic designs.
• Best for extended comfort → FIO MOTUS Hybrid Active Noise: The adjustable angle mechanism and ultra-soft protein leather earcups are specifically highlighted for long-term wear without fatigue.
• Best for low-latency gaming → FIO MOTUS Hybrid Active Noise: While both are good, the FIO lists a specific 200ms latency which is quite competitive for casual gaming and video syncing.
• Best value for tech features → Picun NC60: Getting Bluetooth 5.4 and a metal-reinforced build at a comparable price point makes it a strong contender for tech-forward buyers.
In my opinion, I would choose the FIO MOTUS Hybrid Active Noise for work because the 130-hour battery life and spatial audio capabilities directly support a workflow that demands long periods of uninterrupted focus and high-quality entertainment. The ability to go weeks without charging means I never have to interrupt my day to find an outlet, and the deep bass and wide frequency response make listening to podcasts or background music far more engaging. While the Picun NC60 has excellent features like Bluetooth 5.4 and transparency mode, the sheer endurance and immersive sound profile of the FIO MOTUS make it the superior choice for a primary work-from-home setup. That said, if you frequently need to hear your immediate surroundings, the Picun remains a very strong alternative.
Both models are excellent contenders, but the FIO MOTUS edges ahead for pure battery endurance, while the Picun NC60 is better for those needing the latest Bluetooth 5.4 stability and transparency mode.
Note that both products are over-ear headphones, not in-ear buds. They both utilize Hybrid Active Noise Cancellation to reduce low and mid-frequency sounds like engine hums and office chatter effectively.
The FIO MOTUS offers a massive 130 hours of playtime (or 75 with ANC), whereas the Picun NC60 provides 80 hours, making the FIO the clear winner for long-term usage without recharging.
The Picun NC60 features a blend of ABS and metal materials, suggesting a more rugged build that may handle drops better than the all-plastic construction of the FIO MOTUS.
