Suomi–Sambia Seura ry, known internationally as the Finnish–Zambian Association (FinZam), is a non-profit organization founded in 1977 to strengthen friendship and understanding between Finland and Zambia.
We bring together Zambians living in Finland, Finns, and friends of Zambia who share an interest in culture, cooperation, and community. Our aim is to build meaningful connections, share knowledge, and promote collaboration between people and organizations in both countries
We organize and support a wide range of initiatives, such as:
Cultural events and community gatherings celebrating Finnish and Zambian traditions
Development cooperation and global education projects
Networking and partnerships with schools, associations, and companies
Information sharing for those interested in visiting, studying, or doing business in Zambia
To create opportunities for dialogue, cultural exchange, and collaboration that bring Finland and Zambia closer together — inspiring friendship, learning, and sustainable growth
