When you use our mobile application, FinTrack Pro (the "App"), you trust us with your personal information. We take your privacy very seriously. ### A. Information automatically collected
The App does not automatically collect personal information such as your name or email unless you choose to provide it (for example, by logging in).
### B. Sensitive Permissions (SMS Reading)
The core functionality of FinTrack Pro is to help you track your expenses automatically. To achieve this, the App requests the `READ_SMS` permission.
- **How we use it:** The App reads your SMS messages locally on your device to identify bank transaction alerts and auto-categorize your expenses.
- **Data Security:** The parsing of SMS messages happens on your device. Only financial transaction data is processed. Personal messages are ignored.
### C. Google Sign-In and Cloud Data Sync
You may optionally choose to sign in to the App using Google Sign-In.
- If you log in, we collect your basic profile information (such as name and email address provided by Google) to create and maintain your account.
- Your expense data, including manually entered data and autodetected bank transaction data, is securely synced to our cloud database (Firebase Firestore) so you can access it across your devices.
### D. Third-Party Services
The App uses third-party services that may collect information used to identify you.

## 2. How We Use advertising
We use Google AdMob to display advertisements within the App. AdMob may collect and process certain information about you and your device to serve personalized ads based on your interests. For more information, please review the Google AdMob privacy policy.

We do not sell your personal information to any third parties. We may share information with relevant third parties only in the following situations:
- **Service Providers:** We may share data with third-party vendors (like Firebase) to facilitate our services.

We use administrative, technical, and physical security measures to help protect your personal information (such as utilizing Google's secure Firebase infrastructure). While we have taken reasonable steps to secure the personal information you provide to us, please be aware that despite our efforts, no security measures are perfect or impenetrable.
## 5. Your Choices
- **SMS Permissions:** You can revoke the SMS reading permission at any time through your device's settings. Please note that doing so will disable the automatic expense tracking feature.
## 6. Data Deletion Request
FinTrack Pro provides a dedicated way for users to request the deletion of their accounts and all associated data. In compliance with Google Play's Data Safety policies, you can request data deletion through the following methods:
1. **In-App Deletion:** You can delete your account and all synced data directly within the app by navigating to **Settings > Delete Account**.
2. **Web Request / Email:** If you can no longer access the app or wish to request deletion externally, please send an email to **[smitbuilds@gmail.com]** with the subject **"Account Deletion Request"**.
- Please provide the email address used for Google Sign-In.
- We will process your request and permanently delete your profile, expense records, and any synced data from our Firebase Firestore database within 7-30 business days.
