FinSnap Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the FinSnap mobile application and related services (“Service”). By downloading, accessing, or using FinSnap, you agree to these Terms.

By accessing or using FinSnap, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms.
2. Use of the Service
FinSnap is intended for personal finance management and recordkeeping.
You may use FinSnap to:
Track income and expenses
Capture receipt images
Manage budgets and categories
Track transfers between accounts
View financial summaries and analytics
Configure reminders, privacy mode, and security settings
You agree to use the app only for lawful purposes.
3. User Responsibilities
You agree that you will:
Provide accurate information where needed
Keep your device and credentials secure
Use the app only for lawful purposes
Not interfere with, disrupt, reverse engineer, or attempt unauthorized access to the app
Not upload malicious, harmful, or unlawful content
4. No Financial, Tax, or Legal Advice
FinSnap is provided for personal recordkeeping and informational purposes only.
FinSnap does not provide:
Financial advice
Investment advice
Legal advice
Tax advice
Accounting advice
You are solely responsible for your financial decisions and for reviewing the accuracy of your records.
5. Purchases and Subscriptions
If FinSnap offers premium features, subscriptions, or in-app purchases, those purchases are managed by the applicable app store provider, such as the Apple App Store or Google Play.
We do not store or process your payment card information directly.
You may manage or cancel subscriptions through your account settings on the relevant app store.
6. Local Data Storage
Most user financial data in FinSnap is stored locally on the user’s device.
If the app is deleted, locally stored data may be permanently removed unless the user has backed it up separately.
7. Data Accuracy and Availability
We strive to provide a reliable app, but we do not guarantee that all data summaries, calculations, exchange rate information, reminders, or app features will always be complete, accurate, or uninterrupted.
You are responsible for checking and verifying your information.
8. Third-Party Services
FinSnap may rely on third-party services such as analytics, remote configuration, advertising, or notification providers.
We are not responsible for the availability or performance of third-party services.
9. Intellectual Property
The app, including its software, design, text, graphics, logos, and other content, is owned by or licensed to us and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use FinSnap for personal, non-commercial use.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
FinSnap is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the maximum extent permitted by law.
We make no warranties regarding availability, reliability, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use FinSnap.
12. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to FinSnap if you violate these Terms or if continued operation of the service is no longer feasible.
You may stop using the app at any time.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
