Welcome to FineKeep ("we," "our," or "us"). FineKeep is an independent personal finance utility designed to help users effortlessly track daily expenses, plan monthly budgets, and manage lending or borrowing records.

We are deeply committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains our practices regarding information collection, use, and disclosure when you install and use our mobile application (the "App"). Because our goal is to provide an ironclad, private ledger, we operate on a strict, privacy-first data framework where your financial data stays under your control.

FineKeep is designed as a secure, local-first system to ensure your sensitive financial information remains strictly in your possession.

• No Personal Data: We do not collect, store, track, or share any personally identifiable information (such as names, emails, or phone numbers), device identifiers, or financial credentials.

• Local Financial Data: All financial records—including expense inputs, monthly budget plans, and lending profiles—are processed and stored securely on your physical device's local storage. Your money data does not leave your device.

• Push Notifications (Optional): We may introduce push notifications to send you budget alerts, expense reminders, or system updates. These are purely operational. You can entirely control or opt out of these notifications at any time via your device's system settings.

2. Third-Party Services

Because the App focuses heavily on local-first processing, we utilize a minimal set of standard platform infrastructure services exclusively for core app delivery and distribution:

• Google Play Services: Used strictly for core Android operating system runtime infrastructure, installation delivery, and secure updates. This operational telemetry falls under Google's Privacy Policy.

3. Data Security and Retention

We prioritize the security of your financial tracking. Because FineKeep does not host your personal transactions or budgets on remote databases, there is no remote server infrastructure to compromise.

The protection of your financial records relies entirely on your device’s security. We strongly recommend securing your smartphone with a PIN, password, or biometric lock to prevent unauthorized physical access to your local database.

⚠️ Important Data Notice: Because your data is entirely local, clearing FineKeep’s application cache/data via your Android system settings or uninstalling the App will permanently delete all your recorded expenses, budgets, and lends. We do not maintain cloud backups and cannot recover this data for you.

4. Children’s Privacy

Our App does not address anyone under the age of 13, nor do we knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children. Because our architecture does not gather or transmit personal tracking data from any user group, the App naturally complies with global child privacy regulations.

5. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect feature enhancements or compliance adjustments. Any changes will be reflected by updating the text file inside the App distribution package and changing the "Last Updated" date at the top of this document.
