Samuel ("we," "us," or "our") built FingerPiano: Music Keyboard ("the App") as a free application. This page informs users regarding our policies with the collection, use, and disclosure of personal information.
Information Collection and Use
FingerPiano does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. The App works entirely offline. We do not require user accounts, login credentials, or any form of registration. No analytics, tracking, or advertising SDKs are integrated into the App.
Data We Do NOT Collect
No personal information (name, email, phone number)
- No location data
- No device identifiers or advertising IDs
- No usage analytics or behavioral data
- No audio recordings (the App does not access your microphone)
- No photos, contacts, or files from your device
Permissions
The App requests the following Android permissions:
VIBRATE: Used solely for haptic feedback when pressing piano keys
- POST_NOTIFICATIONS: Used only for optional daily practice reminders that you can disable at any time
- RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED: Allows practice reminder scheduling to persist after device restart
- SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM: Enables precise timing of practice reminders on Android 12+
None of these permissions are used to collect or transmit any data.
Third-Party Services
FingerPiano does not use any third-party services, SDKs, or libraries that collect user data. The App contains no advertisements and no in-app purchases.
Children's Privacy
FingerPiano is suitable for users of all ages. Since we do not collect any personal data whatsoever, there are no special concerns regarding children's privacy. The App complies with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and similar regulations.
Data Security
Since FingerPiano does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data, there is no user data at risk. All app preferences (such as settings and high scores) are stored locally on your device and are never shared.
